I called EVGA to see if I could cancel the xc3...  Customer Service person pretty much talked me into getting FTW3....

I've learned my lesson with the 20 and 10 series to get the FTW3 model over the XC personally. Plus with all the power draw complaints with the XC, It was never even a thought in my head. I think you made the right choice though even if it took some convincing lol.
 

 
The 20 series XC seemed fine to me, the 2070 Super black had a good sized cooler on it. For 30 series Ive gone for the FTW3 for the 3080 and the Kingpin for the 3090.

All the movement seems to be on the Ti versions of cards. Whens the last time there was major movement on a regular 3080 or 3070?

The power draw issue was fixed with a bios.

the 3080 FTW3 Ultra (3897-KL) dropped yesterday and we should see some more movement from it today.  But, yes, not enough movement in both breadth and depth.

Happy to replace my 1080 FTW but sad to see it go, card has been good to me, hope his big bro behaves just as well. Used 20% wheel spin that was expiring on Monday and enewt's code.
