I just noticed on the newegg shuffle today that they are selling 3080 Ti cards for more than what they are going for on ebay brand new.
after these supply shortages are over, I'm pretty much done with newegg for good.
evga has gained a ton of brand/customer loyalty with this queue and their attempts to get cards in the hands of actual users, soo I'll stick with them

As a long time customer on Newegg, I just checked my account on Newegg and the 3080 and the 3080Ti are the same retail price as EVGA's site, sometimes Newegg gives you a better deal depending on the holiday sale.
Lots of people like you forget that sellers use Newegg as a platform to sell their products like on eBay or Amazon at a ridiculous price... You need to double check your search settings on Newegg, make sure it's always on ((Sold by Newegg and Shipped by Newegg))

Here in the UK a lot of retailers are showing stock of all different versions of cards now. Prices are starting to drop now to the point of interest for buying for us mear mortals. Even EVGA cards are showing up at retailers now. Yet i wait in a que now for nearly 5 months now without any idea of if or when i will receive my order. I have just bought a second hand EVGA RTX 2080 Black because of this wait. Soon new versions of cards will be launched as this happens every year and our orders will be old stock . Rant over for today

Nvidia's 40xx series will not launch "soon."
They are slated for Q4 2022 or (more likely) Q1 2023.

Some people missed their notification for more than a couple days and still got their cards. I believe EVGA just took card from next batch and send it to them.
 

drewski989I know there is the argument "well, it wouldn't be the next person if I didn't miss my email" but in non-fantasy world, things don't work that way.

In non-fantasy world somewhere in parallel universe EVGA raised price for their card to match fair market price in the first place. No queue, fair market prices - no problem, huge profit.

im at 6:30 on this same card. this is the only one that is really worth it. i hope i can get one soon. 

I am almost afraid to label today "Titanic Tuesday".  So bad were the drops of Friday and Monday, that I fear the title is toying with fate to suggest that EVGA might have located some inventory under the warehouse's couch cushions. But, it feels kind of desperate at this point....
 
We are almost ten months into this tech launch and, yet, my perception is that there are still more gamers and pc enthusiasts without a 30 series than with...that absolutely must change (reality, not my perception).
 
Finally, I am hearing more and more of my gamer friends talk about their new AMD gpu as if they were Ross from Friends...the equivalent justification for not securing a NVIDIA card of "But we were on a break...!"  It feels like we are past the tipping point where even Rachel might understand....  (For those too young to see Friends as a commentary touch point, my arthritic arm salutes you.)

I've received two cards already from the queue (3070ti and 3080ti) but sold them to friends because I'm a nice dude. The 3899 is for me finally lol

yeah same. Ive been giving to family... Ive only got 2 other cards 3080ftw3 which i got in october. 3080xc3, 3060xc.... my bro in law wants a 3080... so if i get another ill take it and give him mine... since im on custom loop anyway.

Wow.. only 2 KPHC cards released on the list in just shy of 2 weeks.
Total cards fulfilled on list since launch = 26.
My position in remaining queue = 113 (and Enewt is at 111 btw).
Ok, this one is never going to happen.

With some of queues, we may see them getting married before the card shows up.
 
Perhaps the drought of KPHCs may have something to do with the lack of blocks?
