Don't defend EVGA when they're fully to blame, botters and scalpers are merely the symptom, not the cause.
The cause is greedy manufacturers and distributors taking advantage of current market situation, such as in this case EVGA making a complete joke of the Elite system by opening it to botters with the 100 posts program and giving them dedicated threads for it such as 3 word game which was full of crap like "aaaa bbbb cccc" bot nonsense.
The only villains here are Nvidia and EVGA, I find it laughable anyone even dares to defend either party.

Thanks for the clarification. And no I am not an Elite Member but I’ve had my account close for a long while now. I’ve signed up for some notifies for parts that I think could be a significant upgrade to my 1070 but was not aware of how the new updated system worked until now.

No it will not. Elite exclusive time period was extended 3 hours because of the web site troubles many had faced yesterday.

At this point of time - does it make a difference if your an Elite or Non-Elite??? If your an Elite and click on Auto button now, you will still be at the bottom....

All the auto notify buttons are gone

I suddenly am getting an Access Denied page. I needed to sign into my account in private mode in order to even see the store page after 9:00AM

I'm too old (at least I feel that way) and not the best of health to be camping out all night and day at some retailer for a card.  I'm hoping at some point that this shortage will go away.

9AM PT for us plebeians 

My original sign up still 36 hours away on 3897, waiting 8 months 12 days and counting. 3968 is 2 minutes 38 seconds away but that could be a while too
 
on 9/17 I spent most of the morning trying to get to best buy or Nvidia but I looked at EVGA which did not crash and hit the notify buttons no problem, but it was about 5 days later I figured out that I needed a log in to EVGA for them to stick (go me), nothing like the quagmire we had here yesterday

Just coming out to give my apologies for the last couple of days. I was the main culprit behind the flagging of every post, about 95% of the flagging. The reason for my actions was strictly for fun, with no feelings of strife or envy. It was kind of like squirting people with a water gun from above while they're walking down below. That being said, I have given my fat little finger a rest.

great.  because abusing the forum software would get you a long rest.

I am seriously hoping there's only about a week more of the constant spammers (both the actual spam and the every post, even the non-spam being marked as spam)...because after the "elite" window is closed for 3070 ti, nobody should be worried about the 100 posts anymore. There's literally a thread in Mods Rigs about how Mods rigs isn't working and someone (or some bot) just jumped in and said "looks great! hope to do the same with my build some day" or some nonsense...and there are other threads just being revived so someone can spout unrelated, unhelpful nonsense. /rant.
 
Anyway...I am about 4 minutes out on a FTW3 hybrid 3080 ti and I'm sort of hoping for straggler drops today lol. I thought for sure I was just going to be months out with the time I got in the queue yesterday and that they're way too expensive (which they are), but I can still get good money for my current card (without even being a scummy scalper), so it actually seems worth it at this point. I'm goin for it.
