Oh wow, just seen this on EVGA's Twitter page.   May be old news, but with so many pages to this thread, many may not see it..  Nevermind, I see above it was just mentioned.   My bad....

Thanks for handling this so well! Can you please let us know how it’s going to be next week with the 3070 Ti’s? Do we expect that the website will crash again or are there going to be smart infrastructure changes that will be able to handle the same amount of traffic (if not more) such that the true sense of a “queue” remains intact and that randomness doesn’t end up effecting those who’ve been up since 4 am. I didn’t have a good timing today because I gave up after trying from 6-7:20.

I just register to the program Elite Member to order an RTX 3080 TI. After all my personal info was collected I was inform that I do not qualified.

I wish I joined this years ago. Im looking at a EVGA 8800GT on my counter, a EVGA GTX570HD in my backup computer, remembering my SLI EVGA 6600GT rig, just sold my EVGA 1070, which replaced my EVGA 1060.....I have been missing out all these years
Should have joined and registered all that....oh well
 

Registering my currently in use EVGA 1070 granted me elite a few days ago, have had that card for 4-5 years.

I think majority of the demand in this market is because of scalpers. Scalpers are going to get hit so damn hard when this all ends. Even the gamers will eventually start realizing that they don’t really need such an expensive card for the perf it offers at the given price, especially after the 40 series comes out which will decrease the demand even further and stabilize at a ~1600$ market price point in a few months

20 series interest has waned in light of 30 series, but that is to be expected. That cycle will start again.

I suspect the 4080 will start at 1300 USD though.
4090 1800USD.

As always, with any future products we will have to wait and see the details of pricing and specs. Though keep in mind AMD is an actual threat right now, expected to ramp up and we will have to see what Intel does, though I am not very optimistic about that.

Queue system seems like one of the better solutions to combat this whole shortage. Too bad no other web platforms have figured it out. Hoping to get in for the 3070ti!

I signed up late for the 3080 ftw3 ultra (March), but signed up for the 3080ti today.

Those queues have barely moved and with yours being a March sign up date, I strongly believe your 3080ti notify will pop earlier.
 
It's possible those queues will move along once the dense batch of signups are notified, but I wouldn't expect too much.

when the site started crashing anyone who had over 2 tabs opened was kicked out if they could even get in, forced most everyone to rebot and try to sign back in under super heavy traffic

Good for EVGA to prevent people from having multiple tabs open...great anti scalper tactic
