SimplySepe Seems like I've been getting a bunch of nasty grams related to posts that I made that I thought were replies to other posts. Seriously, can somebody teach me how to reply to the forums? I've tried going to a post and hitting "reply" and doing "quoted reply", "popup reply" and they still all show as singular posts so I can understand why a bunch of you would think that I am spamming so I do apologize. Please help. Thanks,
Are you on mobile? That's probably why if so. Clicking "Quote" and using the quick reply window always works for me on PC, I don't use mobile enough to comment on how to do it properly there.

Man I seriously hope that the 3897 moves an hour more asap: I only have 19 days left on my 20% code from the Elite membership and it would seriously piss me off if it expires before my turn comes. We had some nice movement a bit last week but now it's back to a complete stop again this week, and I really fear like they will just give up on them for a while to push the stupidly overpriced TI instead.

Been debating in my mind whether or not to sign up for the 3070 ti queues in about a week, really the only reason would be to get a new GPU "sooner". I'm elite, so I can sign up within the first 24 hours but I might delay it deliberately by at least 4-24 hours.

Good luck! I wish there was a retroactive elite wheel spin. Even if I only got the shirt, I could doctor that bad boy up. Oh well. Maybe if you don't get your number drawn beforehand, you can order a shirt.. then we can work something out. ;)

Greetings, Got my notify today. Excited. PartNumberDateEnteredNotify Sent 24G-P5-3988-KR 12/12/2020 4:45:13 PM PTYes I have a 1080ti SC2 Hybrid that still rocks. Running Noctua IPPC F-12's on push-pull. 38" LG Ultra gear. Running 144Hz @ idle ~ 26-28c. Gaming ~ 50-52c. No oc. Question, since I'll be going from 120 to 240 radiator, and pulling air in rather than exhaust, you think I will gain even more cooling? Still no oc. I have taken into account the case temp will increase due to the orientation. Thanks

Ryanz27 Thank you for sharing that link. I have it saved now. So Iām a little under 6 hours out yet. Slowly getting there.
No problem, my friend! Glad to be of assistance :) Best of luck to you on your wait and hopefully it is not much longer. We haven't had a 3897 drop in a few days, but it was really chugging along for a bit last week. Dabadger84

Who knows, maybe you'll be able to use your discount on the 3080 Ti tomorrow instead! :) Nonimportantuser Been debating in my mind whether or not to sign up for the 3070 ti queues in about a week, really the only reason would be to get a new GPU "sooner". I have taken into account the case temp will increase due to the orientation. Thanks You WILL gain more cooling with it as intake, but I think most people here would still recommend having it as exhaust - especially with a 3090 since it's going to be putting out soooo much heat. It might not be worth that little extra cooling on the GPU if it's gonna put out super hot air over the rest of your components. I look to Dabadger for questions like this and he just popped back into the thread so hopefully he will see it and be able to help you out :)

3888 purchased, a friend will be very excited to get it. Once again, the queue comes through for the real gamers out there. Thanks EVGA!!! I truly wish everyone the best of luck tomorrow, she's going to be a spicy one!!! But, watching Jayz, the EVGA FTW3 3080ti handled the 3090 FE pretty well in Port Royal, like 500 points well...

And what I mean by why I am unsure there are several reasons. The original card I have been going for is a 3070 specifically a 3755, been in queue for that for 5 months now. Getting a 3070 ti would require me to upgrade my PSU, current one is a 650 watt, the 3070 ti would require me to get a 750 watt one, which would be an additional expense, and I have already had plans for a case swap. There is also the higher price of the 3070 ti in general. EDIT: Oh and I am also not employed at the moment. I am actively seeking it though.

A little over a year ago, my brother and his wife were concerned that they were going to run out of toilet paper. It was sold out at Costco, their local grocery storeā¦everywhere in their local meat space. They turned to Amazon, found a third-party seller offering a full box of toilet paper for an unreasonable sum. They promptly paid the exorbitant amount and they not-so-patiently awaited the arrival of the box (which landed at their door a few days later). It was only when they opened the case that they learned a few things: - each sheet of paper was almost perfectly translucent, so thin was the material that a Kardashian could have worn it to fail the baby bar exam;
- the texture of paper rivaled extra coarse sandpaper which actually helped with their prep work for repainting the kitchen cabinets (the cabinets came out great by the way); and
- the thickness of the cardboard core comprised approximately 72% of the total size of each roll.
The Gamers Nexus 3080 Ti Review reminded me of their experience. As a community, weāve waited so long for the release of the 3080 Ti and put so many expectations on the product that we were bound to be disappointed when the details were finally announced. But unlike the 3080 and the 3090, the 3080 Ti feels like a cynical, supply-constrained productā¦overpriced, underwhelming and yet certain to sell out. NVIDIA, it seems, is doing their best to recoup some of the margin that they ceded to scalpers over the last nine monthsā¦trying to refight their last battle rather than pivoting to the future providing actual incremental value for those consumers whom have been denied an opportunity to purchase a 30 series gpu or whom have intentionally waited for a robust Titanium iteration...a model worthy of its pedigree. Into this environment, we -- as a community -- tread...the launch of the 3080 Ti is tomorrow (Thursday) at 6 am PT. Whether you secure an EVGA card at retail, another manufacturer's card, or pursue a position in the 3080 Ti queue as an "EVGA Elite Member", I wish you luck. May your predawn line up outside of your local Best Buy/Microcenter/other retailer bring you success and, for those that prefer/require the digital realm, may your F5 battle to come bring you glorious rewards. As a final reminder, for those who are joining our program already in progress, with respect to the 3080 Ti: - The 3080 Ti product pages (links below) for the SKUs for which you can queue tomorrow should go live during the 5 am PT hour on Thursday. - Elite members can F5 their way to glory (and the queue) starting at 6 am PT Thursday morning. - Non-Elite members can F5 their way to the back of the line starting 6 am PT Friday morning. - Unlike past launches, we are unable to use a "direct link" to the data entry page (aka, the auto-notify page). As a result, the EVGA servers are likely to be hit even harder by the onslaught Thursday morning than on previous post-queue announcement launches. Don't be discouraged if the website falls down...I fully expect it to be up and down several times Thursday morning; keep at it...you will get in the queue. - The Hybrid and HC models may or may not be available tomorrow for the queue...I have not seen a definitive answer one way or the other. I understand that F5 fingers get the best night's rest on a diet of fresh s'mores; YMMV. Best of luck tomorrow! That's plenty lol, I'm running a 3090 KP HC which can pull 500w plus easy and I'm doing fine, though I do have a Supernova T2 which is the best 850w you can buy from EVGA lol Also running a 5800x plus whole custom loop cooling setup with 10 fans 2 hdds an m.2 ssd plus the various built in rgb stuff

Thanks. A friend of mine recommended to me to get an 850W psu since he said it would provide enough headroom for a 5900x and 3080. I had an evga GA 850W on my original build list but I got the c850 on sale back last november. Plus the nzxt PSUs are built by Seasonic so its cool. Hopefully now I can end my wait and complete my build all the way from last year lol.

That's plenty lol, I'm running a 3090 KP HC which can pull 500w plus easy and I'm doing fine, though I do have a Supernova T2 which is the best 850w you can buy from EVGA lol
My brother is running a Gigabyte Aorus Extreme 3090 and a 5950x on an Evga GA850W with no issues. You'll be just fine.

Hmmm, another person with a "member is banned" icon next to their name. Looks like EVGA is actually making an effort to weed out the spammers who are just looking to hit elite :O

Man ive been in the queue for a 3070 since december and now its to the point im probably going to jump in the 3080ti queue and the 70ti to get one faster. My 2060 is doing fine but ive been wanting to upgrade and it feels like its never going to get to my timeš

There's no doubt the flag as spam is being overused. I think it makes it hard for someone who is legit new and just trying to figure out how to interact with others on the forum here. That said.. when people not only keep posting the most generic kinds of phrases.. and even seem to be responding to themselves.. over and over? Yikes. It's even a little more annoying if someone tries to help them by pointing to a more appropriate thread.. and they use that as a means to pile on another half a dozen posts. It's probably not the best thought out system in place to dole out elite status for early access to queues. Most people see hey you can post your way to it and it just seems easier or more preferable to watching videos. Live and learn I guess. Roll out the stream of "Thanks" and "Very nice. This will help" posts at no one in particular.

Check back in the morning? I'd guess at least 500 more than whatever the 3080 ftw ultra is simply because that's how the fe is going (699 vs 1199).

I don't know if it's real or for what, but next to SimpleSepe's username now, there is a little picture of a guy and when I hover over it, it says "member is banned" O_o Also, welcome back Dabadger! Haven't seen you around these parts in some time. Sometimes that pops up when they're clearing out someone's posts that are actually considered spam, I've seen it on people before that are still around, so most likely it won't actually be someone that disappears - but if it's someone that's legitimately spamming, be gone mortal! I haven't been around the forums much since the first day I went car shopping about 2 weeks ago, been busy dealing with that since - tomorrow and Saturday are the last two major hurdles on that race, tomorrow is new tires (front tires are at 2/32 so I haven't been at all comfortable driving it any more than absolutely needed) & the windshield being replaced, Saturday the alignment gets done, then I can finally actually drive it without being concerned. Looking forward to it, one step closer to getting back in to the work force. On days I haven't been catching up on sleep or out getting that worked on, been busy with other stuff. Got my first COVID shot last week, arm was basically dead for about 3 days afterwards, luckily Ibuprofen made it functional enough to pass muster. I like that apparently eVGA is at least cutting some SKUs compared to the 3080 release, for the 3080 Ti, but I'm still extremely disappointed but not at all surprised that NVidia is releasing what is literally a cash grab, in this market climate. Just makes it crystal clear they do not care about gamers or customers in general, all they care about is making as much money as possible on what supply they can make. I see this as a way to make GA102 dies as profitable as possible - most of them can now go to 3080 Ti's & 3090s, 3080s will likely be extinct, and lower binned GA102s will go to, assumably, the 3070 Ti (I believe they're on the same die - I haven't looked, wouldn't surprise me), then all the 104s or whichever it is will continue to go to the 3070 making the 3060 Ti basically non-existent. All the AIBs will continue doing that to maximize profit as long as the supply chain is so inadequate, and I don't blame them much at all, I whole heartedly blame NVidia for almost all of it. It will be interesting to see just how high these go in terms of scalper prices given their reduced value to miners, at launch at least (until they get cracked). I'd be surprised if they're going for less than twice the price regardless, because there's still way too much demand & way too little supply.

Safe bet is between $1,350 to $1,390. But I'm guesstimating it'll probably land at $1,389.99.
