To everyone: Would you get a regular 3060 for $800?

I would not, but I already have a 2080 Super XC Hybrid. So, you have to decide if it is worth $800 to you to get up and running (desperation and demand cost money after all). You may be able to recoup some of that money later if you find something better. There are currently two 3060's on the shuffle for less than $520. Honestly, if the queue isn't going to work for you, I would look into something like that or like stock drops on discord to see if they can get you to a web page in time to order something closer to MSRP. I would rather jump through every hoop out there (or wait in line for seemingly ever) than pay a scalper that much money over MSRP.

Even given the limited nature, I don't think that many people signed up for it. At least those that actually plan to use it. Requiring an open loop and its 2k+, already cuts the number down significantly.

Honestly most of those singing up for this card will be active here so you will be one of first lol

I just got off this call.  It's a trauma group geared towards veterans.  By the way, I definitely over share at times.  What's so interesting to me though is that this kind of weird trauma has spread across the nation.  I know some parts of the country have not been hit so hard, and haven't had their lives changed too much.  Yet so many people have.
 
I would ask that first, people realize if they are in the first few hours of a card launch, there is not one card per second.  It is way more than that.
 
Two.  Realize that as frustrating as it may be, and if you want to complain, absolutely share your voice.  But EVGA has been more pro-consumer than anything else I've seen.  I know some queues don't illustrate that, so if that is frustrating you, share it.  Just don't say it's one card a second.
 
The last.  Good luck today.  Stacking positive moments is the most important thing we can do.  Sometimes just wishing other people well can count as a positive moment.

We're here, static.  Keep up your positivity and I hope things turn around for you.
