ok yet again i got another quick stupid question... what doe ATCS 840 mean? i cant fine out on the box, manual or online? i figure i just ask all you bright people... got a new idea about the top of the case ill post a pic when its done. :)


Not laughing at you..  I found the question funny though.
 
ATCS 840 is the Cooler Master Product line for the Case.  The "line" consists of the RC-840-KKN1-GP (black) and the RC-840-SSN1-GP (silver) cases.
 
Cooler Master had a complete line of "ATC" cases a few years back.  Based on this, the ATC stands for "Active Thermal Convection".
 
The ATCS series is a resurrection of the ATC series, so I assume the ATC still has the same meaning.  Sorry, I don't know what the "S" stands for...  maybe something as simple as "Series"?  Which I probably wouldn't have thought of, until I typed it in this post.
 
So now I'm laughing at myself.

Wow!  I didn't even see that we have a Cooler Master thread here at EVGA.  Gotta say there are some sweet systems here.  In 09' I slapped all of my stuff into a CM-690.  Nothing to write home about but thought I would share on this thread.  My daughter wants to share her cooler master build also, so I will add hers soon.

I am in the middle of turning my HAF-X green. Sourced the green HDD trays and green front 230mm fan from the HAFX NVIDIA edition case. Also did some green LEDs for PWR and HDD Activity. Everything is pretty much done, except the for the 590s missing :)
Let me know what you think. The green HDD trays actually match the G1 pretty closely, the flash on the camera did a number on them.
