As you know (referring to the picture attached) the DIMM slot layout is like this.. But how are they related to each other? Is it per side or is it 1-3 and 2-4? I would really like to know this since when I push for high memory speeds with my 7940x on this board the RTLs loosen up (ofc I know they will) but only on channel 1 and 3 (blue numbers on the picture since 1 is 0 in the bios).. 3600MHz CL14 with RTL's at 1. 57,  2. 59, 3. 57, 4. 59 thats okey but when pushing 4000+ It'll go crazy 1. 59, 2. 62-65, 3. 59, 4. 61-67 and that is with CL16. If I would crank up the voltage to 1.85v and push CL12-12-12 the RTL's lookes like this 54 59 54 61 and CL 12-11-11 is not possible on this board with the way I have the dimm's right now (I know that this set of ram will do CL12-11-11 at 1.85v)

I'm going to delid the cpu and rearrange the DIMM's but I would like to know how to pair them or how the board pair them together first!

Thx

That is one long sentence
See and still waiting An odd finding on the X299 Dark Bench Board has the Memory laid out as 2 1 3 4
Also using 4 DIMMS runs faster and better than only 2. We tested this in another Thread.

Well that's not the question.. I need to know how they are paired together.

As 2 & 4 and as 3 & 1 or 2 4 3 1

Yes you are supposed to fill them in that order I know all of that but do they "pair" that way as well? I mean the closest relative ram slot to 1 is 3 then?
But the picture above (In the manual) seems a bit crooked don't you think? the test table seems more accurate but I don't know that's why I'm asking..

I do and why I am asking here An odd finding on the X299 Dark Bench Board has the Memory laid out as 2 1 3 4
I was hopping that T|n would reply to the Thread or my PM to him.

There is no pairing as is, each DIMM slot is independent.  However you'd want to stick with 4-DIMM configuration, so loading across memory controllers is equal, and it is the highest bandwidth configuration.

If you have question, please post in public forum. I do not reply PMs, so all in community can benefit the answer.

Thank you Tin! I am using 4x8GB Samsung B-die A1 Trident Z's which I want to push but they are giving me a hard time.. I'll guess i just move them around and se if that makes any difference!
