I have precision 6.1.8 and the OSD keeps and keeps popping up despite toggling it off many many times, 2 mins later it toggles back on by itself, what am I missing? I didnt have this issue before I updated to a newer version few days ago!

Problems with v6.1.8..Uninstall it, restart PC, delete the leftover Precision XOC folder/files in the Program Files (x86)\EVGA folder, install v6.1.6 and it should work okay again.

Do you know whether this is a bug that occurs when updating to a newer version without uninstalling the 6.1.6 version? Since I only do clean installs of Precision I haven't seen this occur yet on 6.1.8.

Yep..Logitech G11 here..Pressing any of the multimedia keys (Play/Stop/Fwd/Rev) toggles OSD in v 6.1.8..v6.1.6 is fine..Some others are reporting the same problem..Just need to wait for a fix from EVGA I guess and use v6.1.6 for now.

I'm having the same problem. I thought it was tied to using a remote desktop program (Microsoft's Remote Desktop Connection Manager, which I already added to the Precision Server list), but I also have a Corsair K70 keyboard. It does toggle the OSD on and off when I use the media keys or change the volume, but it also does it when I'm not using the media keys. That might be related to the Remote Desktop program, or it could be something else.

Same for me. OSD turns on at random times, despite turning it off. Doesn't seem to be connected to my keyboard software, however.

Same here. i'm on 6.1.9 standalone now and every time when i use the multimedia keys (vol +-, Play/pause,...) of my logitech G11 the OSD toggles.
setting a toggle Button did not solve the problem.
it's very annoing. please fix

When I'm not touching the media buttons, the OSD does not come back on until I open a remote desktop program. There might be other affected programs too, but definitely those, and they're on the Precision Server list already.

Can confirm this is still "broken" for 6.1.9 and it is indeed very annoying.
Stand alone P XOC v6.1.9 & Logitech G510.
I can even add that it'll cause CTD in certain titles like GTAIV and ST Online.
VERY annoying in STO for I play music and sometimes video on separate monitors while gaming and if I hit play/pause or even sometimes volume adjust, I'll CTD.

on v6.1.8 same issue here, all the media keys on my Corsair k70 will activate OSD, really annoying

My GOD I though I was just going insane! Volume scroll wheel on an old Logitech G510 does the same thing. Literally drove me to insanity when I was trying to stream tonight. Thanks for reporting this my blood pressure is coming down now  EDIT: crashes almost every game because its a wheel so it get started and disabled about 50 times in one second

Yeah, me too while in game playing The Witcher 3 I use my media keyboards to raise or lower volume and would crash my game.
Took me a while to figure it out then I remember updating the precicsion at the time to 6.1.8 and while playing a video would crash my player too.
Still using the 6.1.6 with no problems.

Still an issue. Took me a while to figure the reason. My special mouse buttons keep toggling OSD. It's just not only annoying as some games tend to crash on start with OSD being turned on. Doesn't matter what hotkey shortcut I assign for toggling in settings, both still works - the hotkey and the mouse buttons. But now I've realized I don't really need updates for my old GTX 690 anymore. So I'm gonna stuck with 6.1.6 and search for updates disabled. For the time being anyways.

Thank you for letting us know rjohnson11. I did forward this information and I am told this is already being looked into.
I apologize to everyone who is currently experiencing issues with this. At this time you can downgrade to version 6.1.6 or you can wait for the next update which will likely resolve this issue.

thank god someone posted this, the newest version of XOC is utter GARBAGE. the OSD keeps popping up, it keeps telling me theres an update to 6.1.9 when there isnt any.

Same here, nagging osd is turned on BY DEFAULT after installing, and OVERWRITES any config after installing 6.1.8, RESTORING TO DEFAULT after REBOOT in 6.1.9.
Is there a bug report function for XOC?

6.1.10 and still not fixed. every time at startup precision x starts and says that new version is available to download 6.1.10 .... yes or no to go to download page.

Similar issue here. Instead of the OSD appearing when not wanted I can not get it to stay on screen while gaming, it literally turns itself on and off.
This is with version 6.1.8. I see 6.1.10 is out and that a clean installation is recommended. Can someone point me to where I can backup my profiles before uninstalling?

however, it seems the OSD turns back on when certain apps are launched (checked every option to try and keep OSD off)...anyone know what could be causing this or if this is a bug?
