Hi,

Im looking for this to get this. But I want to have some questions answered.

- I have multiple monitors (total 2). If I want to setup to record on the main screen (monitor_1), do I need to play / watch in a software screen? Or does I'm playing native on the monitor?

What I want is that Im playing native on my PC/screen WITHOUT looking in a software editing window that I'm playing in it.. So the software program needs to capture off host, forexample on the second monitor I can see the recording what Im recording.

So what would be my setup to connect then?

What ever monitor you have set as your primary display (which in general is where the game will be running) is the one you should connect your XR1 lite to. It will then capture that display while you have OBS or any other recording software on the 2nd display.

Back in the old days, I remember that you was looking and playing through the software and there was lag/delaaaaaay

So, that is not what I want. So is that called pass-through?

Yes, that is what pass-through is.  Whatever device you are trying to capture (Playstation, Xbox, Switch, whatever) will connect to the XR1 lite instead of your display, and then you connect the XR1 lite to the display instead of the device you are trying to capture.  That display will be dedicated to the device you are trying capture with no lag or delays.  Then the XR1 lite will send what it captures to your computer.  In this scenario, your 2 monitor setup would become a single monitor setup since you would be using one of them for the device you are trying to capture.  And you could have your broadcasting software on the other monitor.

However, if you are talking about streaming PC games from a 2 monitor setup, you most likely don't need a capture card at all.
