    Thanks friends ;)
First tests this morning with my "bad" 4960X ES in watercooling. No problem to boot and benchs @4.6GHz with memory GSkill @2400MHz 9-11-11-31. It's same performance as my Asus R4E.
    Screens later because now working.

show as max bclk overclocking on this board, also max mem freq with third latency stable superpi32m, something 1400+clock? ...but you will be surprise because compared with R4E is a veritable garbage=))
2400mhz isclock for daily on ivy-e,  not clock  for bench buddy , 2400  it possible with SB-e ... nothing impresive here.
you will be not able to bootup with 1.67 strap bclk -THIS IN NOT FUNCTINAL on Dark
also maxim voltages aplied to ram´s is maxim 1.928v ..even you set in bios 1,990v ..or above ...the voltages for ram´s is only 1.928 max.
voltages to cpu is not accuracy  bios/soft /evbot/dmm...to big difference idle -load ...very uncalibrated voltages board made by evga , and the wonder "spikey feature" i say nothing ....please post here if the R4E have this spiky voltages bootup like dark? ...please compare the voltages to cpu/ram /vssa /vccio/pll etc... R4E vs Dark ... dark is a disaster , but users won´t see that because not everbody can use a DMM ...if the board look nice it´s all what i need , right? functionality in second place.
but already know that you will not post anything I've written above about max bclk and max ram clock ...because you will be not able even to bootup post =)))

    Looking good!

What are you going to do with your "bad" 4960X when you get a "good" 4970X?  *hint* *hint*

    Re: EVGA X79 Dark : pictures, overclocking and LN2 2013/10/22 22:09:06 (permalink)
we want results air/ln2...not just pic´s ..this is not intrested///////

so, if you can´t provide feedback for evga team because you have a sample recived for free from evga  and from this cause all you write here should be in "specs" so want evga( but i´m sure you have already discover the weaknes on this board) , but i dont recived nothing ...all is buyed with my own money ( like 99% form people)...so i´m not afraid to write something REAL about this board , discovered realy problems on this board and public them to others users ...i fact i help te community to progress and evga improve the abilllity to make a stable bios and good support:D
     so , my feedback´s are:

evga if you don´t undestand the difference betwen SB-E vs IVY-e chip , i told you : is the IMC (integreted controller memory) ...IVY-E is superior to SB-e , expect ram oc wise on dark x79 board over 1400mhz because IVY-E can , but evga x79 dark can´t , even my chip is has a very strong IMC.

-1.67 BCLK strap --IS NOT FUNCTIONAL  , if you set 1.67bclk ..you get "bd" core > fast shutdown > board start again with "FF"code ... just need push "clear c_mos" button and start again build yours configuration.
-the board aplied only 1.928v to ram , even you set 1.990( bios limit ) , or over 2v value ..( you just can go higher with voltage setting from bios ...but nothing is aplied)
-voltage VCCSA/VCCIO are very inaccuracy compared DMM with bios set ..and eleet voltages tab , same problem with cpu vcore ..

i fact i´m able to boot 1400mhz with my binned ram G.Skill TridentX 2666cl10 -samsung HCH9 IC´s , very third latency ...but i´m not able to run super pi 32M (stability ram test)..even  initialisation loop i can´t...but this ram is very strong on other boards with very low voltages
in fact i think i´m only guy in all over net till now , i boot 1400mhz third latency with a Dark board ...evga should pe proud..because they bench team have no idee to get that freq.

pass 1M , this is seconds bench ..not stability

    32M is impossible to ran:

asrock Z87 OC formula , same ram:

asus maximus Z87 extreme  4x4gb trident´s (same ram) my submision from XS forum haswell 32M challange you find here , post#121:
