Looking at 750 or 850 G3. Really want a quiet PSU during gaming. Was also looking at the 850 P2 What's the fan curve like on the G3?

i just love this PSU, the smaller size is great, the fan even with eco mode turned off is quieter than all my other fans which are pretty quite themselves. the only thing i didnt like was the cables but in the price range they are fine, i just replaced them with the red evga set. the one thing i really loved was the attention to detail with the stickers, whether the fan is facing up or down the logo is right side up, just shows that every detail was thought of.

EVGA It's time for one more revision of Titanium PSU and cooperation with Seasonic.
750-850-1000W. Now little change in PSU Case, smaller than 1000T2, bigger than G3 because it's Titanium.
With classic brushed aluminum PSU case and small white LED EVGA Logo on side.
Compatible with sleeve set but 100% ribbon cables out of box.
Case could be as In Win C900, CORSAIR AX, series, and something classic.
750 Prime and 850 Prime are great platform but EVGA could design better PSU case.
People will ask more Titanium standard 750/850/1000W and should be more options.

Why would EVGA "cooperate" with Seasonic?
While EVGA doesn't make their own power supplies, they DO compete with Seasonic on SELLING them.
Are you perhaps suggesting that EVGA should use Seasonic as a manufacturer for a new model?

EVGA has some of the highest quality cables in the industry on the G2/P2/T2 series.
They appear to be using the SAME cables for the G3/P3/T3 series.
I can't speak to anything else as I've never used any EVGA power supplies except G2 series ones.

is there going to be a 1600 p or t 3 ? I need 4 more evg ports for this next build , posablely if 2 kingpins don't work like I want I will have to get 2 more and case will only hold one power supply . so need the number of vga ports that the p1600 has to feed cpu and pcie on board and 8 card plugs. that makes 11 . ? New build is named Darklight__Spying !. 7980xe Cpu 2. X299 Dark MB EVGA 3. (2) 1080Ti Hydo Copper Kingpins , to start may have to go to (4) 4. (2) Intel 900P U2 port 280g (560g raid 0) boot drive (64g bandwidth) 5. 32g of 4x8 Gskill 4100 ram 6. Phase change case so you see I need a 1600 ps and would love it in the new #3 but not very happy with the way coasts keep jumping and you don't even have any whats up with this ?

As far as I've been able to find (someone employed by EVGA feel free to correct me if I'm wrong), there is NO platinum version of the G3 much less a titanium version at this time.
The P2/T2 still seem to be available, but might be in short supply - all PC part suppliers got hit HARD this Christmas shopping season, especially on higher-end parts.
I'd also personally avoid the G3 anyway, as it uses one of those "fancy name" sleeve bearing fans that don't LAST in high-load usage - the G2/P2/T2 use a good ball bearing fan that keeps going and going and going.....
Unless you are pushing TDP above stock, you shouldn't need a 1600 on that build - a 1300 should be plenty.
Cables might be an issue on a 1300 though, as the Kingpin is a dual 8-pin power card and the 1300 only has 6x8-pin connections on the stock cables (and 2 dual cables IIRC adding 2x6-pin connections).
The 1600 WOULD give you plenty of headroom for overclocking stuff though.
CPU and VGA ports are SEPARATE and NOT THE SAME on the EVGA G2/G3/etc series power supplies - in theory you could dig up a custom cable to use a CPU port to feed VGA card(s) from but it's not standard.
Not a factor anyway since your motherboard uses 2 x CPU connectors you'll need BOTH of them to power the MB.
What is the "11'th" power connector you're talking about, I only come up with 10 - 2 CPU for the MB and 8 total for the video cards if you go with the 4 card option.

Which everyone you can get for less. At one time evga sold power supplies made by SeaSonic, not sure if all the current evga 80Plus Gold or higher rated units are made by Super Flower. Did you know SeaSonic doesn't send review samples directly to reviewers, they use a retailer to send out a product sample instead. No cherry picked samples being sent to reviewers, when a mfg does things that way. IMO that should be the industry standard for sending out review samples.

Seasonic Prime and Focus lines, like the EVGA G3 line, use a "fancy name" sleeve bearing fan that does NOT last under heavy load. The ONLY power supplies I will consider buying have Ball Bearing fans, that DO last a long time under heavy load - Seasonic X series and the Plat versions, and EVGA G2/P2/T2 series are all Ball Bearing. I have had EVERY BLOODY POWER SUPPLY I HAVE EVER OWNED that used a "fancy name" sleeve bearing fan have the fan DIE in less than 18 months, usually less than a year, OFTEN LESS THAN 6 MONTHS. 100%. ALL OF THEM. Several of those times the power supply has overheated and COMPLETELY died before I had the chance to notice the dead fan. NEVER AGAIN. Johnny Guru doesn't test longevity, IMO he's a MORON for not "knocking off points" for power supplies that don't have a ball bearing fan.
