you use  sas port ?  with bios  number  16  0.08 1.01 beta have turbo ans sas enabled

finnaly did you resolve the issue. reboot with code B5?

This is disgraceful.

My 16 core machine worked flawlessly, but I wanted to upgrade my gtx 680's to a pair of titans, so had to flash my bios.

Now I'm stuck with my machine in permanent 3.1ghz mode. Where as speed step used to take it down to 2.2ghz on idle.

Speaking of 'on idle'. I used to get temps at 35°c with my machine doing nothing.
Now I need to run the fans on their 2nd to strongest setting, to keep the temps below 44°c

EVGA can fix this sh*t or pay the difference that I see in my electricity bill, come the end of the month.

I'm not having energy efficient xeons procs throttling all day long, w/o an f'in viable solution.

Support your hardware EVGA, or I won't be buying from you again.

I'm actually in the wrong thread, I installed the 1.03 version.
It does have speedstep and turbo speed settings enabled.
But still, the cpu's are running at x34 constantly.

Yes. I've tried everything I can think of. The multiplier still sticks.

I switched to position 2 and put the 019 release back on. (last stable one for me)
Everything is back to normal. Multiplier is 12 on idle, temps are normal.

But neither Titan Z card will work. I get a code: 62 and a blinking curson.

Both cards work in my gaming rig, but the idea is for them to be workstation cards.
SO If there's a Titan installation work around, without having to mess with the bios. I'd be happy to hear about it.

Either that, or this is the last god damn EVGA purchase I make.
I spent an hour with tech support today, talking to a level 3 tech. Who knew nothing!

Sorry for the delay, but the BIOS team is still looking into the issue. So far, they have been unable to replicate the issue. Once I have more information for you, I'll let you know.

I got tired of waiting for EVGA to work on a new bios, so i made my own
fixed a display and updated the microcode for CPU
UEFI seems a lot more stable 
have a look, just remember this is not an EVGA BIOS
 

well i have it running win 10 atm,
but im running it in full UEFI mode
also changed a few BIOS setting to make it more stable
