schmorblatz The illuminated bridge is compatible with reference cards. Yours are not reference cards. This is probably the reason why it does'nt work : no circuitry for LED control. (AFAIK, the LEDs are under graphics card control, and the bridge needs the LED controller : the bridge is a passive component). In other words, if the graphics card is already illuminated (like ref cards), it works. If not, it does'nt. This certainly is a Asus 770 issue, not a NVIDIA or EVGA bridge issue.
It's impossible because the illumination HAVE TO WORKS with all graphic cards of all brands
It does not have to work with all cards of all brands. NVIDIA only says it will work with all reference design cards. EVGA provides a compatibility list. Take a look at NVIDIA website. Also, have a look at EVGA website. Not all EVGA GTX 770 are in the HCL (compare with products page, and pay attention to GTX 770 with ACX cooler : some of their non ref cards are not listed : 03G-P4-3783-KR, 02G-P4-2776-KR, 04G-P4-3776-KR). http://www.evga.com/articles/00766/http://www.evga.com/Produ...orce+700+Series+Family Known issue with non reference design cards.

why make it simple when it can be complicated ???? rig 1 : Asus P9X79-E WS / i7 4930k / 3-way SLI EVGA 780ti / Quadro K2000 / watercooled / 3D Vision Surround / 3 x Samsung 2233RZ + HP ZR22Wrig 2 : Asus P9X79 WS / i7 4930k / 2-way SLI 770 / aircooled / 3D Vision / Samsung 2233RZ + Samsung 2232BW + HP ZR22Wrig 3, 4 5, etc. : uninteresting !

I have had no problems getting them off of Amazon. Have you glanced around there? My guess is possibly not, because they are on there right now, for less than EVGA offers them, with free shipping if you are a prime member.

EVGA commonly sells out of accessories, as people save EVGA Bucks... that means people were paying maybe 5.99 for shipping and nothing for the bridges, and they are a nice accessory to have, so if you aren't willing to hunt them down, why would you be willing to post in an open forum when they are readily available at an authorized retailer.. I asked if you had looked, shortly after you had posted. They were on Amazon when I asked, so I asked if you had looked since they were available, NOT on backorder. I even stated they were available when I posted it. Amazon.com is surprisingly easy to type in, and 99% of the world knows how to get there. Then type EVGA SLI bridge, and it amazingly shows up. You complained about it in the forums, so I figured you could do that after I said they were available, you would know how to get to amazon. My apologies. This isn't daycare. Also, if you are in a foreign country, which doesn't show on mobile, the link wouldn't work for you, so you would have to search anyway. Don't get upset, because I made a point of something that was obvious. Implying something, as you did with the link that you so kindly posted which I won't share, is the same as just saying it. Be careful you don't get yourself yelled at by a mod. Everyone knows, we don't want them getting upset and editing our posts. :-) P. S. If you have anything else to say, feel free to pm me. This doesn't need to be on the forum posts any further.

When using Slots 1 and 3 (arrows) the long bridge will be perfect. This would be 60 mm spacing. If you used slot 1 and 4, the center fingers of the 3 way bridge would not touch either card, but I am not sure if it works properly. 100-2W-0021-LR Also, Amazon is now out of stock, lol. (in reference to the discussion above.)

I actually purchased an EVGA SLI bridge, only to discover that the Asus Rampage V Extreme (and other Asus X99 boards) are configured differently, with more space between the first and third slots. Is there an EVGA bridge designed for the new Asus board?

Thanks, Pgcmoore, for the prompt reply. That, in fact, is the bridge I ordered and while it is appropriate for the cards, it does not fit the slots on the ASUS board, which are more widely spaced.

Thanks again, Pgcmoore, with apologies for replying in this forum and not to you directly. Of the three bridges, I had ordered the two-way SLI which, as I say, does not fit the cards as they are fitted on the Asus board, which itself does not seem to follow the configuration of other, earlier boards (as the Asus rep explained to me).

if you can measure the distance between the sli slots (in mm) we can help you find what you need better.

In fact, I did measure the distance, which I provided to EVGA. It is exactly the distance between the first and third slot on the Asus three-way SLI bridge, which is to say, 3.25 inches. I did not use the three-way bridge, however, because I was not certain that it was appropriate for a two-way configuration.

the long skinny one is 60mm apart. on the 2/3 way one each set is 40mm apart, if yours is 3.5 inches , thats, uuuuummmmmmmm 89mm? so I think your out of luck. If they were 80mm apart the 2/3 way would work.

If I measure from the first set of pins in slot one to the first set in slot three, it is 81.5 mm. Although this may mean that I cannot use an EVGA bridge (at least for the time being), it does prompt me to ask if I actually CAN use the Asus 3-way bridge (using only slots 1 and 3) in a 2-way configuration.
