Hello everyone, I have several questions related with the EVGA Pro SLI bridges along SLI-ing your card.

1. I am currently having ASRock Z77 Extreme4 motherboard along with EVGA GTX 660 and planning to add one more card for SLI. Based on the thread by Jacob on . It is mentioned that the 3-way SLI bridge can accommodate 2-Way with dual slot spacing.  I was wondering whether the PCI Express 3.0 Slot on my motherboard does count as dual slot spacing? Since there's some kind of battery between the PCI slot. I just want to make sure that I will buy the right SLI bridge. Below are the images of my motherboard, taken from Newegg.

2. I understand that it is mentioned on the EVGA that the LED functionality will works o the EVGA Cards 770 and above. However, is there anyone out there that have been trying to use it on lets say GTX 660? And does the LED works?
3. About SLI-ing a cards, in order to SLI a card, is it true that the only things that we have to worry is the memory size and memory interface?

Thank you.

*ps: I apologize if someone has been asking the same or similar questions. I just wanted to make sure that I am not purchasing wrong items.

Welcome to the forums...Do you know what the slot spacing dimension is?  Pretty sure the 2/3 way has spacing of 40mm for each connections, for a total of 80mm from slot 1 to slot 3.

The LED will not work without modification on a 600 series card.  There was some mods where they ran separate LEDs into the cover to make it light up.  I believe it was powered by a 4 pin Molex connector.  If you do some looking in the 700 series forum you should be able to find it.  Or I believe there is a sticky at the top of that forum as well for the SLI Pro Bridge, might be in there as well.

Lastly, as long as it is another 660 card with same VRAM size it should work fine.  Doesn't necessarily have to be the same brand.  Hope this helps. Good luck!
