We are looking into this.
Have you had your people look into the fan speed issue yet? It takes 30 seconds to replicate and is a potential GPU-killing bug. I'm not sure why this software is still available for download.

i can not save fun curve "auto" when i select a profile. when i cklick a profile is always off. i must click it manualy to on. i switch to 3 profiles and i must click always manualy to switch on. evga precision 4 works perfectly.. i can save fan curve into my profile and is always on. and the precisionx server i see nothig. a no.... a button with ok and a button with cancel thats it.

Hello, this is probably going to sound like a weird issue. PrecisionX 15 is actually effecting iTunes when I watch videos through it on my PC. Like, the video would just freeze out of no where. iTunes has even started crashing for some reason. Also, the OSD would appear on the video I'm watching like I'm playing a video game. There is also the issue with Steam that's been mentioned several times here where Steam would treat the Precision program like I'm playing it as a game. There is also another issue I found where I set the program to launch at the start of windows, but it never does. Please fix these many, many issues.
I'm going back to an older version for now.

K-boost works for me, but I have the 334.89 drivers.
I tried with the latest drivers (337.88) and didn't work

Yeah, but it's not a good thing. Has none of the options of functionality or RivaTuner and looks like complete garbage. Who ever decided that this was acceptable to release needs to lose their job. As is it's nothing more than an insult to EVGA customers. It's also full of bugs that are causing crashes and conflicts with programs like iTunes and STEAM.

why does my voltage stays at 1275 on idle when my gpu clock speed on idle is at 324? i dont think i want my GPU to be running at 1275mV even at idle. just weird.

I like the fact that x64 is supported now, seems like a step in right direction. DOes anyone know if it interferes with other software(like NCP)and settings? I'll wait for a patch/revision though to work out the bugs before I try.

Playing CS:GO, I can't crouch and switch weapons. The buttons for that is CTRL + 1, or +2, etc.

It doesn't. If you check voltage using GPU-Z, your GPU drops to idle voltage. I don't know if that change to way Precision displays the voltage was intentional or not. But in my case, it doesn't even read the voltage you're supposedly setting correctly. I'd greatly prefer they go back to using an offset, which is pretty much the standard.

Well we have it folks, our first reported dead GPU caused by the fan issue in Precision X. I tried to warn but unfortunately the software is still being distributed. http://forums.evga.com/EVGA-Precision-15-blew-up-my-video-card-m2192381.aspx Unfortunately the OP redacted his post and the thread has since been closed. I private messaged him and he confirmed that this issue is what killed his card. It is a shame the thread was closed as people simply do not know about this issue and as much attention as possible needs to be brought to this so people are aware. I'm trying to be loud about it, but everyone seems to act like it's not that big of a deal. More GPU's will burn because of this software in its current state. EVGA, have you been able to replicate this issue? It is a quite serious problem and not difficult to replicate.

oh yea your right, my GPUZ VDDC showing 0.8750V at idle. Im just worried why Precision X 15 would fluctuate at 1268-1275 at idle. just weird. HeavyHemi

Voltage display is currently broken, if you use overvoltage, it doesn't show the true idle voltage. If you use GPU-Z, you'll find that the voltage is actually at .8 while PrecisionX is showing it to be 1.25.

Why did evga add two icons by taskbar. Can you combine them both an add another option when you right click on the icon for server.

My first suggestion. Change the voltage control back to setting an offset. For example, +13mv. Second, there appears to be a bug where setting a voltage offset causes the GPU to run constantly at the higher voltage even when at idle clocks. Correction: Just enabling overvoltage causes the GPU to run at a higher voltage.
I think in future release we can let you select either offset or manual.

How does EVGA dare to call this release their own "coded from ground-up", while anyone with a brain in their head would see and know that it was copied from Unwinder's RivaTuner? The ONLY 2 things that are different are the 64bit support and the skin, but GUI, overclocking, sliders, monitoring, even .exe code and fonts are Unwinder's work. EVGA PR's don't even bother commenting on all of this and keep repeating the vague "Its all in-house coded" without ANY details or backup to these statements and ignoring what Unwinder stated. Creating a SKIN and adding 64bit support doesn't make EVGA the owner of this latest release, which, in addition to breaching contract with Unwinder, also has bugs that 1.30v adjustment for cards that don't go above 1.21v. I am ASHAMED to be using EVGA's hardware and until recently - software. Who knows how much of EVGA's intellectual property and hardware design is of their own true in-house design? So, I tried testing out the OSD in Borderlands 2 and it wasn't showing up at all. Closed the game and the entire screen was light blue, but I was still in Windows. Couldn't open up the task bar or anything, ALT + F4 didn't work either, so I had to use the power button to shut off my computer. Uninstalled it immediately upon reboot.

The fan getting stuck after changing profiles is a deal breaker for me. Played watchdogs for 20 minutes and then realized fan was running low and temps hit 95C.
Terrible idea to release this with such a dangerous bug. I am going back to the old version till this bug is fixed.

Even though the Screen capture key is assigned to none it takes screenshots if I press F5 on the keyboard and it gets quite annoying when I need to press f5 in a game quite a few times.
Also could the OSD be completely turned off as an option to.
Could this be looked into please.
Same problem here. Keybinding is currently "none" so I've assigned it to another key. Now I have two keys that take screenshots I don't want.

We are looking into this.
Have you had your people look into the fan speed issue yet? It takes 30 seconds to replicate and is a potential GPU-killing bug. I'm not sure why this software is still available for download.
Precision used to do this actually. It would happen when the computer woke up from sleep and the fan would stick on 40%. I had to RMA a card because of this. On that note, this release really should have been beta. Beta seems like a pretty good fit for it.

FYI for those who are having issues.
I am currently using
win 7 64 without any issues other than the VOLTAGE display not showing correct voltage compare to GPUZ.
I have been playing BF4 Crysis 3 without issues and both CPU and GPU are overclocked. Played 3 - 4 hours without crashing...
only issue for me is the voltage that is showing in PRECISION X 5.0 everything else is working even better when overclocking.
