I think that I will stick with Afterburner. There are far too many bugs that I am reading about this version of Precision. I'll stick with the Unwinder's tried and true version.

Some reason OSD is On and cannot be turned off, and isn't letting me play BF4. Once I completely close out Precision, BF4 will launch and work properly.

Damn..... I just installed this new Prec X 15 and as soon as I enabled Overvoltage on my GTX 780 Ti, i got all sorts of artifacts in Valley 1.0 and my monitor just shut off. Same clocks that I have been running for months.... I'm back to 4.2.1 and everything works perfect.

I can't monitor my GPU temp, framerate, usage and etc in-game, I configured everything to show on-screen display but the display doesn't show up, I click in the EVGA Server and all is blank with two buttons (Ok and Cancel), anyone with the same problem?

Even though the Screen capture key is assigned to none it takes screenshots if I press F5 on the keyboard and it gets quite annoying when I need to press f5 in a game quite a few times.
Also could the OSD be completely turned off as an option to.
Could this be looked into please.

Is there a way to customize the OSD? I like it on the right than the left lols :)
Oh and some reason mines running 3 servers after a reboot.

As reported above be careful with the fan setting! I didn't realize the fan setting was off auto and had set voltage to 1300mV on my Titan and had just loaded up Civ 5 and was only sitting in the main menu with the core at 3XXmhz and my temp rose to 96c without me realizing it was happening because the fan wasn't ramping. And, I only realized what was happening when at 96c when the fan suddenly blasted for a few seconds to emergency cool the core.
Also, I tried a couple games and couldn't get the OSD to show anything at all. I'll try again tomorrow to see if I was doing something wrong there but I think I had everything set correctly.
Software seems like it could have used a little more validation before it was released.

So they killed RTSS and now instead of a fully fledged statistics server we get a blank window... I need to set FPS cap on a per game basis. Also can't import my custom fan profile from the previous version (minor annoyance). Steam integration is wonky at best, you get a permanent "in app" message on your status and you can't close Steam without exiting Precision (!?)... that defeats the purpose of the program. In this state this software is unusable. Rolling back to 4.2.1.

No question this software revision will blow up GPUs. If I were EVGA this software would be pulled immediately. I am still sick to my stomach over how hot my 780 Ti got.

Hi,
having trouble with 5.0.0.
First of all undervolting doesn't work anymore. I used to run my GTX 780 at 1025mV. Now it seems like only overvolting is possible, i.e. 1150mV and up.
Second of all I can't find the option to adjust the position and size of the OSD anymore. Is it still there somewhere?
What a bummer. Seems like I have to go back to 4.1.2. (Moving from 1150mV to 1025mV saves 100W not to mention heat & noise).

If you try and clear the graph history, the program will crash, this is far too unstable for release.

the osd not work correctly... why dont? Hardware monitor isn't show on screen. Is it necessary Riva Turner soft like before? i dont understand.

hey jacob,
in titanfall if it is running the game freezes and is stuck at the loading screen.
if i start titanfall and get to the lobby then alt tab to desktop and start the precision x 15 it freezes the game then.
i noticed in the task manager that it has 3 processes running.the 32bit and 64bit both are running.
went back to the old precision,but would really like to have OSD.
could it be a conflict with riva tuner ?,basically msi afterburner crashed titanfall the same.

If you have the standalone version installed, not the one through Steam, and you open Steam and then run Precision X 15, and then close Steam, Precision also closes eventhough its not the version running through Steam. Seems top be related to the steam dll files in the program folder.

just upgraded to precision x v.5.0 (i use EVGA 780TI SC ACX)
somehow it seems to interfere/kill with my win 8.1
every time i reboot, i got a BSOD with the message "SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION", getting into windows wasnt possible once
finally i got into windows by using my onboard graphics (HD 4000, Intel i73770k) and uninstalled precison x and windows started working properly again...
never had any problems like that, guess the new version is messing around with nvidia drivers...
going back to version 4.X.X until this issue is solved...
P.S. i have the same issue with bf4 (doesnt load maps, framerate is about 1 frame) as stated in the comments above

i removed precision x version 5.0 too, dont work fine, interfere with other aplications... and crash it.
gone back to version 4.2.1 again

major issue for me as well, when I set the voltage evga reads it as 1.3 but gpu-z show default voltage and when I tried to run the same clocks I used before it crashes kombuster and games. Tried reinstalling and same thing... voltage will not change. Reverted back to older version and everythings fine again. (using 780ti)

I went back to 4.2.1.
- My 780's voltages wouldn't drop when idle. When i have set 1200mv it kept reading 1208mv....???????
- Can't get the OSD working. Precision X 15 server shows me a blank window.

So many problems with the new PrecisionX 15. Most notably: - Kboost will not turn on at all for my SLI setup (worked before enabling SLI)
- EVGA Server (or, whatever startups along with it) messes with game clients, most notably Battle.NET

Lazy, lazy, lazy. You should never have released this unless it provided identical support and function to the RivaTuner that you are obviously ditching. I'm glad you are ditching RivaTuner, there is no reason for the jerk who made it to refuse to update it for 64-bit except for MSI. He was obviously paid off by MSI. But your version is worse than not having 64-bit support as it looks like crap in EVERY game. Also, no way to monitor information via the taskbar tray and no support for CPU monitoring like the MSI version offers.

No support to display information in the taskbar tray. No support to change the position, font or color of the overlay. No support to display more than 1 piece of information per line in the overlay. All lines of the overlay waste pointless space by spelling out what is being displayed. Long story short, version 15 is a steaming pile of **** that should never have been released. I will put up with the version that doesn't support 64-bit games over using version 15. Shame on EVGA for releasing this. It either needs to function 100% identical to the version included with MSI Afterburner, or don't bother releasing anything at all.

Big problem, some applications are glitching up visually while EVGA Precision is running. One example "Mailbird" in the Google Drive app tab, the entire app just messed up visually.
Please look into it and download the application (free) to test it.
