Currently unable to change the lighting on my GPU using 6.2.4. Clicking the LED Sync button does nothing, and the appearance LED option in the settings menu is greyed out. Previous XOC was uninstalled cleanly, as was Flow Control, then the EVGA folder was deleted as well to ensure a proper clean start. I have the 1080 FTW.

Try checking if it didn't open directly minimized on the tray.
If LED Sync is enabled, then, the LED tab into configs will be disabled (you should change led colors via LED Sync).

Also, try to make a full power off on your pc:
1- Shut down PC.
2- Disconnect it from the wall
3- Disconnect any other cables that can flow energy into the PC
4- Press power button of the case for 30 seconds to discharge it
5- Power on everything.

Most of the times it solves some incompatibility issues.

Two full cold restarts made no difference. I had to go into the EVGA folder on the C: and manually start the LED Sync program. It is now working, but I will have to manually start LED Sync every time I start up the computer.

What about a redownload and reinstall of PXOC?

It might happened something during the first install that it didn't proper installed maybe?

I have uninstall both Flow Control, PXOC and Led Sync by Windows Apps & Features which is total remove and restart Windows.
Delete any EVGA folder and run CCleaner after finish CCleaner do restart Windows Once.
At the Start up Windows let them running background finish before install both Flow Control and PXOC.
Test and everything is okay but it still bit slow down when I every open any Apps or using MS Edges made windows slow down few secs....while PXOC running so when PXOC is closed everything is normal!!! Need check this cause windows slow down every open any program Apps....

I'd already re-downloaded it twice. Same for Flow Control. Nothing wrong with the download, and for once nothing wrong with Windows either. It just seems as though LED Sync refuses to show up until you manually start it, even though XOC and FC are convinced it is actually running.

I've tried it in 8 different games so far, and no issues with any of them. It seems to be working OK.

Damn.
That's odd.
Mine is working fine.
Open PXOC and directly click on Led Sync button and it just pop up on the screen.

I've been trying for 2 days to do a very simple thing:

Set my fan controller to a default profile that will load on bootup.  I can't for the life of me get this to work.  And after two days of reading forums without success I am totally mad over it.  Take your software and shove it.  My next graphics cards will not be EVGA.

clicking OK closes the program... that's it. o.O

Looks like that means xoc is conflicting with another program... https://forums.evga.com/EVGA-CLC280-Can39t-launch-Flow-Control-m2774147.aspx

edit: I stand corrected. Nahimic audio software was the cause of interference.

Does anyone else have it showing in Pinkish color the GPU you have in the top right corner? I miss the White color it use to be. I don't see a setting to change that?

This was the #1 item I was hoping would be addressed... It's a HUGE let down that EVGA, a well established and generally well respected company, is unable to produce a fully functioning utility for their graphics cards.

Edit: This is in regards to manual overclocking.. not sure why my reply didn't include what he said.

@EVGA_JacobF - Would it be possible to obtain a list of known issues?

It's kind of pathetic a company like EVGA puts out software of this quality.

I have to set my fan curve every time I boot my PC for my 1080TI SC2 Hybrid. I have to re-select what I want shown on the hardware monitor on every boot. All of my other apps to go where they were last opened except for EVGA Flow Control and EVGA Precision. I have to drag them over to my second monitor every time. I had hopes that the updated Precision I downloaded would resolve at least one or two of these issues, but basic stuff like settings sticking I guess are just too difficult to address.

Thanks, wasted my time trying to play around with this last nite and indeed its still broken.    Not sure how many times it was mentioned as a request to fix in this forum and its been a known fault since 6.1.14.

Anyone find the 'OSD Settings' in this version or has it been removed? It makes this OSD completely useless to me with the basic details it shows. Doesn't even show FPS.

Version 6.2.4
  • OSD control is now handled in the “HWM” section. Click the dropdowns at top to add/remove monitoring and select icons to show where to monitor it.
  • Adds support for EVGA Z10 Keyboard display
  • Increase number of GPU’s supported

It's literally in the first post telling you how to display the OSD.

Or do you mean to show other infos on the HWM?
If so, there should be, on the middle top of HWM, "GPU1 / SYSTEM", which you click on SYSTEM and you can select what will be displayed on the HWM. Same goes to the GPU1.

I asked about the 'settings'... not how to display the OSD.  And for the record... my dropdowns don't appear while in focus unless I'm resizing so I didn't even see them.  I have to put the window out of focus to make them display so that I can click on them.  Repeat each time I want to see or select the dropdown.

GPU1 / SYSTEM is not always in the top of the monitor window  unless you make the background main window semi over lay the other window-  default UI and windows 10

it is a bit "wonky"

1. I went back a version

2. I renamed ledsync.exr to xxxxledsync in the ledsync folder to make life easier when using with EVGA flowcontrol and to prevent LED sync from taking over.

3. I still have to click OSD settings EACH time I boot to get the LCD display on G19 to use the selected font size and to even make the data display work at all on the NEW version.

Afterburner  ( do you want to save setting because you are uninstalling to get a newer version  )

Sorry, I misread your question dgr111. I thought it was about how to display the OSD.
If I'm not mistaken, in the configs on the lower right side of the main window, there was a tab for OSD wasn't it? Or it was right clicking on th HWM... Can't remember where I saw it.

As a warning to others, there have been a few reports in another thread regarding Power/Memory monitoring. It seems as though they're not monitored by default. Auto fan control relies on those readings to adjust fan speed. This could lead to overheating! I highly recommend making sure power/memory is checked under HWM if you use auto fan control.

Did you do a full uninstall of everything, or did you just update? I had the same issue with my CLC 280 not showing up, so I uninstalled everything through control panel, then deleted the EVGA folder from C:, then reinstalled Flow Control, followed by XOC. Have you also gotten the latest version of Flow Control?

Re: EVGA Precision XOC 6.2.4 Available Now 2018/04/07 03:35:30 (permalink)
I just found why this PXOC cause my Windows slow down every time I open any Apps or Microsoft Edge. The Profile in PXOC setting > Profile when I save profile 0 and then select 2D and 3D for profile 0 that cause my Windows slow down every 10 sec or open any apps! So I have remove Profile 0 to not assigned 2D and 3D bang My Windows went back normal smooth and no more slow my Windows then I cannot load profile 0 at Windows Start up so I have to use Manuel click profile 0 button icon to load okay and those fans is not automatic when I have enable Auto Fans in Setting.

everything is good but just need look at Fan will not load at start up Windows and Profile save in 2D and 3D setting cause my Windows slow down every few sec or open any apps.

True.
It does look like it's running better.
But they still need to make lots of improvements.
