Long time builder / modder here but getting old and a lot of new tech since my last build. Any thoughts, good or bad appreciated. obviosly memory is low due to availability. Why did you put the gpu on the bottom slot? That doesn't have the full pcie x16 bus speed does it like the the top one does? Maybe it does on that board depending on if an m.2 drive is sharing bandwidth with that slot. Clean layout of the build though.

Could have sworn the PE6 slot on the x299 dark is an X8 slot but then again maybe a different version than the one I have.

I just bought my first Lilan Li 011D Dynamic case
They are probably the best case (IMO) out there
Been building computers since 1988 back when cases were actually made with thick metal
and I can tell you that the "011D" line of cases are made with the same thick metal (Very heavy and sturdy)
I only have one complaint about the 001D (Dynamic) is that there's no room for a bottom radiator when doing a vertical Video card
other than that this is now my go-to case......
Im ever planning on building a new Mini 001 case soon for my daughter

Lian Li makes some pretty competitive cases. Easy to work with and overall make a nice looking system
