Which one is quieter blue or brown ?

Brown, easily.

i think the video has it backwards, it says the blue are tactile and browns are standard.

Actually, both are tactile, so you should be able to feel the actuation point - the moment the key registers a press.  The difference is whether the actuation point creates an audible click to mark that point, as the Blues do, or if there is no audible click, such as the Browns.

Wow. A keyboard from EVGA. Always a big fan of the EVGA products and really sat up straight when I saw this. I desperately need a replacement for my Logitech G19, and this appeared to have all the requirements covered... except for one. Only 5 macro keys? Very disappointing. I'm looking for a minimum of 10. 12 (in two columns) to 15 (in three columns) would be optimal.

7 keys, 2 are with the arrow keys

Also, nearly every key can be reassigned to play/pause a macro, if you wish.

Very disappointed - why Kailh switches? These are just plain cherry mx ripoffs made in China, original Cherry MX switches made in Germany obviously are much more expensive but the price is the only downside of Cherry MX switches. At this price range I would expect to be greeted with Cherry MX switches.

As for the LCD screen - very neat.

Now bring some premium version of the keyboard as well with Cherry MX or Topre switches.

*facepalm*  Right after I bought a full Cougar Perf setup.  Well at least I have options in the future lol.  I'm glad to see an EVGA Keyboard come to fruition.  Maybe when I do my next all EVGA build.

watch out the links with the buy now takes you to the wrong color. if you click on the blue color you are linked to this ( EVGA Z10 Gaming Keyboard, Red Backlit LED, Mechanical Brown Switches, Onboard LCD Display, Macro Gaming Keys) for the brown switch.   and then when you click on the brown buy now you are linked to this ( EVGA Z10 Gaming Keyboard, Red Backlit LED, Mechanical Blue Switches, Onboard LCD Display, Macro Gaming Keys) for the blue switch.

Little disappointed that it's red only illumination. Was looking for the final successor to the G510 in a mechanical switch form. Guess I'll have to keep waiting. Having more macros would be nice as well, but the big seller would be RGB just for customization with different builds that aren't red focused. Especially considering the price, it should definitely be part of the focus behind the keyboard. Even if the LEDs weren't color changeable outside of software, would be a serious competitor to the G510 and G19. Love having the LCD for a HUD on what's going on with my CPU, GPU, RAM, temperatures etc rather than having a OSD. Another nice integration would be replace one of the two usb's on the side with a headphone + mic jack setup (whether passthrough or standalone DAC). I guess you could just plug in a DAC USB into one of them, but it'd just be a bit lower profile.

I really hate EVGA has gone this route. It's going to ensure this is their last venture into the keyboard market because it's going to be an abysmal failure. $150 for CherryMX knock offs that are locked in one color in 2018 is not going to sell well at all, regardless if you bundle it with a decent mouse. This product feels like the product development team and marketing team did not speak until the keyboard was already in production. I can see past the Kailh keys as they've gotten better in the last few years but being forced into red only is a big fat NOPE.

If you own a AMD GPU or another mfg motherboard, can you monitor anything other than the time/date on evga Z10 keyboard display?

Guess if your system is color schemed with blue, or green, or RGB in general, you're screwed!

I'm quite shocked that EVGA would manufacture a keyboard, without RGB. Makes ZERO sense!

Try to sell hot dogs without mustard and onions! Good luck!

I am still laughing over Jacob saying “what isn’t rgb these days” after releasing this keyboard. Oh the horror when he finally realizes evga’s Newest product isn’t rgb, because why would it be?

Jesus no Cherry MX.  Kalih, Kahil, Kahel...???... mmmm

Cherry MX Board Silent - 120$ no LED, PBT keycaps.
Great fonts. Presented on CES 2017, Retro keyboard.
She will retired HyperX, K70, Gskill, CM QuickFire,... unboxed one after another when first one die.

Problem is because she is real gaming keyboard and use only linear switches and they are great mostly for gaming.
Only Black and Red.
I like her because remind me on Deck Legend. only deck Legend have Cherry MX Clear and that's far more better.

They aren't that bad now unless EVGA's using some old stock. The few Kailh keyboards I used a while back were horrid but I have an Alienware AW768 which uses Kailh browns and it's fine. The biggest complaint I previously had which mirrors other user complaints was inconsistency between switches but my AW's are near perfect. The difference is Alienware recognizes they cut corners by using these switches and only put a $80 price tag on the thing and it's RGB.

He wouldn’t respond when people asked him why the z10 wasn’t rgb. He is really good about acting like he doesn’t see specific questions.

He never responds to me. Sometimes I wonder if he has hidden my username.

I wonder if EVGA reps will answer this question. If you own another mfg motherboard, AMD GPU or another Nvidia partner GeForce GTX graphics card, will Z10 keyboard be able display information from them.

Would love to see an RGB version. I would toss out my G510 for an RGB version of the Z10. Please make it happen EVGA.

I just checked, and each keyboard has the correct where to buy links for the switch color.  Please let me know if you're still seeing a problem.

So is there any kind of API for the keyboard OSD for third party devs to write display apps, or will it only support EVGA written applications?

Looks like you can remap all they keys in the software, and it comes with a key cap puller, so you could probably make the layout yourself.

I hear AIDA64 will try to add support for evga keyboard at some point. I don't think AIDA64 software is free.

Are you talking about the physical keycaps or the software function? Physical keycaps can be ordered from third parties in pretty much any config you can dream of but I dunno if it would be worth the cost to you. e.g. Candykeys.com has a bunch of ISO-DE options.

Well my suggestion would be to head over to https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/ and ask for advice on which keycaps to get, they might be able to find you a set that matches the EVGA style.

Hi everyone, we're aware that mice seemed to have been left out of the box on some of the keyboards.  We will be notifying and shipping out mice to everyone affected by this, without requiring anyone to contact us or request one.  Anyone missing a mouse should know that their mouse will be shipped out by tomorrow at the latest.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

I think they think it's a given that it only works with precision, for now, so what precision supports is what you would see, which most definitely won't be any amd cards.
Adding other apps like Logitech did would be a good ideal though.
