Hello,

I've got my  2080 Ti FTW3 and was happy with it for a while, but shortly I started having issues with it. Some of the fans are not turning on when I boot the computer, I suspect it overheats. I'll do more tests, but I was wondering if anyone else is having issues and if there are any workarounds?

Thank you all!.

Keep an eye on those fans, they can be kind of flaky. Probably the firmware/software/mcu just needs some maturing.
I used Precision X1 and finally figured out how to enable automatic fan control and made a slightly more aggressive fan curve. So far since doing this my fans seem to be behaving whilst gaming. For the most part...
I keep a close on eye them though.

Have you had issues where in the games your textures blinking with diffirent colors? I usually play Rainbow Six, performance is great but yesterday things started happening. I also have Nvidia 2080 TI and it works fine, but I'm EVGA fan and prefer to have this card with little extra power. If it's issue with the card I'd rather RMA it until it's not to late.

No not at all, if you are having issues like that yeah I think I would look at a possible RMA.
Unless you can diagnose whilst it is happening by watching temps, etc.

It looks like not a single fan is spinning when video card is idle. Doing more tests

How do you save the fan curve? Also do you have to disable automatic fan control to use the your new fan curve or do you leave on automatic fan control and just adjust the fan curve

I didn't really touched anything in Prcision yet, it's all set to factory defaults. It looks like fans do work in the game. But I just crashed again during the RB6 test. It doesn't look like card actually overheats. Can it be because it was overheated earlier? I'm going to try new bios I saw Jacob was suggesting to use in another topic.

Well what are the temps when you suspect of a overheat?

Close to 90c? Also there are actually no new bios for FTW3. Not sure what to do next...

It's crashing during 3DMark Graphic Test. Everything starts freezing and at the end, it quits to the desktop. Fans look like spinning fine.

I think the threshold is 95c for Turing so you should still have enough room before the GPU starts throttling.  Could be something else going on.

Ok just ran Time Spy Graphics Stress Test with fans set to 100% speed manually. The temperature didn't raise over 40c-50c. The test couldn't be completed and it crashed, also seen artifacts - screen blinks during the test. It looks like Video Card is bad?

Sounds like bad VRAM. I have a 2080 TI FE experiencing the same issue and started the RMA process.

I have the same issue with timespy not being able to complete, but every other benchmark works fine. Can you run anything else successfully?

Many 2080ti cards from all manufacturers have the same problem unfortunately.
Does the RMA process require shipping costs from us?

Driver + DX12 issue then as all other benchmarks are DX 11 or 9 work fine.

And why Time Spy is the Only DX12 Benchmark from 3DMarks or UL.
