I reeeealy wanted a 1080 ti Kingpin..., but they just were not available here in Australia.., and impossible to import from the US.., and over $2000AU from the UK.., i was expecting the same availability problems with the 1070 Ti here in OZ, so eventually I settled on a 1070 FTW2 (3 weeks ago)..., put it on an ASUS CH VI Hero (which auto overclocks it by 19%), which puts this card in the 1080 range anyway. I will be watching to see just what benefit this new 1070Ti has over the FTW 2.., if any at all. Cheers Gary Edit Typographical errors.

Pre-Ordered a 1070 Ti FTW2 a couple of days ago. Hope it will ship soon.
Any info on the custom bios possibilities yet? Like, will there be EVGA supplied OC bioses available? Or community overclocked ones? Is it possible for me to define safe voltage/clocks and save them in the bios (without having to use the PrecisionOC tool).

Because NVidia doesn’t want it outperforming the 1080 at stock, so no overclocks from the factory. This is all over every single review. It’s best to watch a few of those, because it has been thoroughly covered already. All AIB manufactures will sell the card at the same exact speed, across the board.

Are there any differences on the pcb versus the 1070?? Will 1070/1080 waterblocks be compatible?

I would imagine it is the same layout for reference version pcb. Sc2 and ftw cards will still maintain a different layout because of the thermal sensors. Use the EKWB configurator. They may be updating it soon to show compatible blocks and that will give you the best answer.

No longer a pre-order - my SC showed up today from Newegg (originally was supposed to be Monday, but FedEx was efficient for a change).
Some venders seem to have "beat the gun" on actually shipping them a day or two early, I've seen folks talk about getting their pre-ordered shipped cards yesterday.
Now that vorsholk has stopped his abuse, I'm returning to folding. I no longer MOO due to abuses by certain "whales" in the Gridcoin community - so I now work the Distributed.net project directly again.

seen a few reviews were the FE cards actually over clocked better than the custom PCB/cooler cards, which if thats the case then thats a real jerk move on nividias part

Then AMD kills one of the reasons for this card - drops the price on the Vega 56 to match the GTX 1070 and the Vega 64 to at or a bit BELOW the GTX 1080.
I wonder if NVidia is going to follow suit on the 1070 1070 ti and 1080 to stay in competition?
There is also the question, possibly later this month, of when the Aftermarket Vega cards are going to show up - and what THEIR performance is going to be like with better cooling and potentially better power circuitry.
BTY, bad news on the miner front - the 1070 ti is getting a LOT of attention as the most efficient ZEC mining GPU on both a hash/$ basis and on a hash/watt basis (when tuning cards for maximal efficiency).
Up side - any sale of 1070 ti cards to miners will leave more 1070 1080 and even 1080ti cards available for gamers and might even free up a few used 1070/1080/1080ti cards FROM miners.

Where can you get to the Precision automatic overclocking after you run it the first time? The software prompted me to run it the first time, now I want to run the longer scan, but I can't seem to figure out how to do that manually.
