Anyone have some bench marks for the classified card. I cant find any reviews of this card what so ever. I currently have 3 new 9800GTX+ cards that I have not installed into my new pc yet. I am in love with the metal casing and have plenty of power to run it. I am only playing Flight Sim X which doesnt support Sli very well anyway. Any links or reviews would be great. Thanks!

It seems the card is made for ultimate overclocking and supports 4-way SLI. A bench-marker's dream. The extra power connector allows for more voltage to hit the card allowing for extra OC. I am sure the boards are the cream of the crop and you will get OC like 800/1700/1400 or even higher. I says it has an 8 phase PWM for more efficiency/higher OC. Not to mention the cool looking shroud which can easily be replaced with aftermarket with a "snap" not sure if that means w/o screws or just really easy.

Got all this from the product description but nothing on how far it will actually OC.

    CPU - i7 950 @ 4.2GHz 1.375v
    MB - MSI Big Bang X-Power X58
    RAM - 12GB 1600MHz G.Skill Sniper
    GPU - EVGA 980 Ti 1438/3600
    BOOT - Adata SX 900
    SSD - 2x Samsung 850 RAID 0
PSU - Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 1200W
    CASE - HAF X

Looks like I will be getting rid of my 9800GTX's. Tri Sli looks very cool but 1 single Classified looks way hardcore with its aluminum heat shield and cooling fins. Says it takes up to 640watts of power . I am going to have to split the rails on my HX1000 since it is dual rail 500wattts each.

this isnt really a "benchers dream"
the 5870 is almost identical to the gtx285; 80 texture units 32ROPS (except 40nm vs 55nm)
so in theory, the card with high clock will receive higher marks
800mhz on the core isnt that high compared to the stock 850mhz on the 5870 which can hit 1ghz when OCed
on ln2(cpu and gpu) the 285s in 4 way sli only hit 28420 xtreme vantagehttp://www.youtube.com/user/evgaonthetube#p/u/5/xUcxriaAWWg
on all stock settings(air cooling), trubritar hit 27.520k xtreme vantage
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RT4xmxC48jU&feature=related
with a simple overclock, 5870s could easily beat 285 classifieds

The only advantage i see for the GTX285 Classified is that is 4 way capable and is very easy to OC if you don't play on going 4 way sli i'll say stick to the GTX285 Reg. But if you have little more money to burn the go for it. But IMO its a waste for non quad sli benchers

the 285 classified is $399, where as a 285gtx is $389...a ten dollar difference! wheres the waste of money?

come on bud!   the 285 classified is a good investment, and the best 285 i have ever had

Ahem, something that loses value as soon as you open the box is not an investment. I've nothing against the classified. If they had come out earlier I might have gone that route for a 4-way system. As to the OP's original question, performance wise, they perform exactly the same as a regular 285 at the same clocks.

well heavy i disagree  i say investment because i always try new parts, and sell them down the line, anything you buy loses value over time, i had a 285ftw, the classified clocks better than the ftw

I got the 285 classy a couple weeks ago, it performs awesome and looks epic. I haven't tried overclocking it as I have no idea where to start.  Huge step up from 8800gts

Well you can disagree but you're changing the meaning of what an investment is. There are a lot things that increase in value than one can invest in.  Maybe some classifies do clock better than 810/1764/1503 on air that I've benched mine at. Post us up a Vantage run.
