I have an EVGA GTX 970 SC ACX 2.0 card that will soon be put into a newer system, going from a base old motherboard, RAM, CPU and set into SLi with a second card of the same type and model. The RAM, Mobo and CPU are many years old and will soon be updated. I have a brand new case with much better airflow, fans and cooling options. My new motherboard is ready to go in, with the CPU and RAM due to arrive in the next week. Now i have my CPU water cooled - not due to any requirement of the CPU itself, but due to space limitations. I have a full tower of course, but the cooling solutions i was using just wast not providing enough space for adequate airflow in my opinion. I have no proof of that course, but the simple fact that i could not install a pull fan on my CPU HSF that is set for push configuration, simply due to space constraints (the pull fan would be literally 1-2mm from the GFX card pulling hot CPU air directly onto the GFX card's PCB). The CPU HSF was pushing down because there was no other way it would fit. It could not push back towards the rear as there was not enough clearance from the RAM modules, and up (originally) was the PSU with little to no room. Water cooling just gave me so much space to play with. Now, the main reason for this thread is that i am seriously considering adding a GFX card water cooling solution for my soon-to-be dual SLi EVGA GTX 970 SC ACX 2.0's and not because i need the cooling, but rather the space. I will be using two PCIe 1.0 slots that the mother has, and to do that would require sandwiching it between the GFX cards, pushing a lot of heat onto it, as well as placing the second one beneath the bottom card partially blocking its exhaust. I would only do this water cooling system to try to conserve space and not for the actual cooling of the cards. What water cooling system do you guys recommend for cooling those two cards and do you have any other relevant information? I am not a silence fanatic so as long as it does not drown out my PS4 (i play all my consoles through my PC) when on full load, then i could care less how much noise it makes.

Hi mouseno4, currently and as far as I know there are no full blocks for the EVGA GTX 970 SC/SSC/FTW. EK is working on them, but they're not out yet. At the moment, the only possibility (and the route I went) is the full block from Alphacool for the EVGA GTX 760, as the GTX 970 models mentioned above share the exact same PCB layout. I was one of the lucky ones still managing to snach a pair of them before they went out of stock. Having a 3x120 and a 120 radiator in my loop with a D5, my idle temps were 39-42ºC while the load temps were 50-55ºC, with an i7 920 @4GHz. (This is to give you an idea on the temps to expect with an example build.) I'm speaking in past tense because I returned my two GTX 970 FTW (VRAM issue highly noticeable at 1440p with constant micro stuttering, seeing an FTW+ come out shortly after I got my cards, plus the price inflaction for the step up, made it quite easy to decide returning them without regrets). This means that I'm now sitting on two WC full blocks for the GTX 970 SC/SSC/FTW and have no use for them. =) If you're interested, I could sell you the blocks. Just send me a PM in that case and we can discuss it. Who knows, if we make a deal, I'll even send the GTX 970 backplates with them. In the meanwhile, I leave you some images below of the blocks after installed on the card, and then on the my rig. GTX 970 FTW PCB: Cooler installed in one of the cards: SLI Cards installed in serial:

Oh, I guess I forgot to mention I don't dye my coolants for obvious reasons, so the WC blocks are in new condition - though... if they're not obvious to you, there's always Google. =)

Chill. It was a harmless joke. You really need to calm down before you bust a blood vessel. Instead of looking for arguments where there are none, try to just chill. Nah I can choose my toobing colour from many colours. They are easy to replace with a more aesthetic look. ;)

So instead of saying worst color rofl (as this is your opinion and are entitled to it) then leaving it at that maybe go with something like: worst color ever but yea I'm interested or no I'm not interested......Courtesy goes along ways.

No insult intended. If you believe there is or was, then that is 100% your problem and not mine. Please take your attitude elsewhere as it certainly is not requested here. FYI - The reason my responses have been very short and succinct is because i was out shopping and was replying from my phone whenever i got a notification of a response via email. (and Americans are online during the morning and not in the afternoon) Now, @Morphevz, i am not at all interested in buying a second hand kit regardless how good it most likely is. The reason for this is simply due to the fact that i want somewhere to go when and if things go wrong. Not saying that it will, but i like the safety net buying a product from a retailer offers. If i buy it from say ebay or craigs list and something goes wrong... i either have to RMA it directly to the manufacturer (good luck doing that) or take the hit and buy a brand new one. So my post was to find out what i need, not to request someone who intends to sell one. Yes, i am in fact grateful you posted pictures and offered to sell me yours, but i am sorry to say that was never the intention of this thread, nor would i buy one even from my best mate. I must have the recourse when and if something goes wrong - i want someone or somewhere to go when and if it dies a week or a year later. That and i could not possibly purchase yours anyway as the shipping alone to the other side of the planet would be worth just as much as the items themselves.

I didn't was an insult I said it was an opinion, and don't have a problem with your opinion (I do not like red tubes myself) it's the how you said it especially when he took the time to show you a solution/alternative to what you were asking about. Also, I'm pretty sure I didn't have attitude in my post.

Temp locking for review. EDIT: The following is not allowed- Bumping threads, Trolling, and Off Topic posts. Some posts were deleted for these reasons. I have cleaned up the thread, and don't really want to come back for any more. One more thing. Respect other people's opinions. Don't be too judgemental that they are insulting you. You will know if they are insulting you, or attacking you. As it's obvious. Let's get back on topic. Thanks. Unlocking.

If you choose your words carefully and think before you speak, I'm sure you wouldn't have offensive words coming out of your mouth, unless you just one of the young disrespectful kids that we see in today's society.
