Looks good, but I really just want the analogue gage set

If I end up picking this up, I'll sell you the analogue gauges! 

I can't justify the cost on something like this. Will they release price drops on it in the future? Will they sell analog gauges separately?
 
How does the full kit cost make sense compared to the kit 2 since the price difference is high with not much items to justify the price increase, unless they are counting the free 800 dollar shipping case...
 
The kit 2 and full kit says assembly is required, but the 1600 kit doesn't, but the unboxing looks like they still have to assemble the gauges with it, so is that also incorrect?
 
What other GPUs can it take besides the kingpin if bought without the GPU?
 
I'm also surprised there's only a one year warranty on this kit considering the cost...

Open air never needed circulation. The fans on the components make their own circulation.

I'd be interested in only the analog gauges and hub, the rest is entirely impractical to me

Too pricey ...carbon fiber or not.
 
I'll stick with my Phanteks for 150. works great. looks good enough (since I rarely look at it anyway).
 

Price is absurd. Especially for anything above just the case:
Case: 1600 dollars.....enough said sure its carbon fiber but even still.

But the price difference from the Kit with the case and GPU is 3700. Then the bare bones kit is 5000 dollars. A 2300 dollar increase!!
What do these 2300 dollars get you?
A motherboard that is 500 dollars on evga.com
A powerlink52 that is 60 dollars on evga.com
A case that is FREE but an 800 dollar value....
This totals to 560 dollars...on there own website, but they want 2300 more for it!
or even if the advertised case is a full price of 800 then you are at 1360,
but this package costs 2300.....who did this math. you are paying 1000 dollars extra for nothing....just buy it separate if you really want this. Honestly this is a scam on their own site. Very odd. If anything the should be deals and if the pelican case is not free don't say that it is.
 
 

my guess the mod of the website instead of 159 ,typed by mistake an extra 9 ,3x nines instead of 4x. if i include the cents ,mistakes can happen.waiting the price to be fixed :)

5000 - 3700 = 1300, not 2300. 
But that 5000 price tag is odd, seems like they count the Case's price in as well.

Air will move around the room naturally in an open air case as the hot air will move to the ceiling of the room and cooler air will be pushed down. If you had a fan in the room then you have airflow. The good thing about not having a computer boxed inside a metal and glass space is the air around the computer parts is room temperature. 

I don’t see the price dropping much on a build to order item, since there will never be an overstock to drop the price on.

IMO a custom carbon fibre case like that is worth the premium.  Yes they're making a profit on it, but come on, that's a genuine carbon fibre case.  That can't be cheap to manufacture, especially if it's a limited edition.

So, first question, is this a limited edition run?  

Next question, where do UK buyers go to buy one of these kits?

Then, what is the PowerLink™ 52u?  Is that the starter button/key fob thing?

Excited to see it released finally, but boy what a wait and I do agree the timing sucks at this point.

Power link 52U 5 eight pin cables to 2 sixteen pin cables, and cables face the back of the case.

Power link 52U can ONLY be used with the 3090ti K|ngp|n currently.

The power link 41S has 4 either pins to 1 sixteen pin, and the cables go out straight.

If they made it out of aluminum and allowed the case to be taken part. That would sell way better IMO. People could polish it or paint it to any color they wish.

Not sure about the premium price for the frame but Kit 1 pricing is interesting, anyone know how much the Kingpin 3090Ti costs by itself?

It was launched at 2499.99 with a 1600W P2 PSU a while back. So Kit 1 will be 400 dollars cheaper than buying them separately (also a better PSU T2 instead of P2). 

Interesting, yes. In terms of value no. I’m interested in the frame itself, but the price is just too much.
