I'm confused about the DG-75.

In the specs It says it has tempered glass on 2 sides.

However on the picture for the white version, it looks like it has no tempered glass at all, so which one is it?

Edit:
Also why the different case size? I cant tell the difference on them D:

Did you think the front and side panel got that shiny for some other reason? Having Tempered glass doesn't mean having a window in every case.

Mine shipped from Newegg too, should be here Monday. Which one did you get?  I went with the DG-77 in black.

Ah okay so it wasn't just me then..I was wondering how I could be getting a shipment so soon. I went with the DG-77 in white!  There's not a whole lot of super white cases out there so this one caught my eye. Most of them have a bunch of black accents all over that bug me.

I got the email about these being released and it actually inspired me to come here and complain.
EVGA makes some pretty nice stuff but these cases disappoint me. I know the trend lately is to put lights on everything and have shiny side panels but it was tacky in 1999 and it's still tacky now. I'm sure 4 million teenagers will pay you handsomely for these things but I'll stick with something that's function over form.

Hehe, I couldn't have put it better!
My biggest beef with them is that you have to include one with the DIY configurator.

Nice, that white is a gorgeous! I was tempted by it but my last PC was in a white case, so I figured I'd go dark this time.

Youll have to report back on monday after you get your spiffy black one and see how ya like in person. I liked the black too but that pure white and clear window was too tempting. Excited to finally get it.

It just seemed weird cuz the black version does have see through window..

Anyways i still cant tell what makes the different sizes - they all look exactly same shape to me?

Just wondering, will there be enough space to put a hybrid 1080 Ti vertical and one more in the standard layout for SLI?

Doesn't look like so.
Looking at the article, the vertical GPU takes all the PCIe slots.

Case: Asus Z370-G Box / MB: Asus Z370-G / CPU: Intel I7 8700K / Mem.: 16GB (2x8) 3000Mhz Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 / GPU: GTX 1080TI FTW3 / A.I.O. W.C: EVGA CLC280 / PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G3 750W

If the case is a bit wider seems will have the space, looks like just overlapping... trying to plan my new pc, but there is too little fact for the case...

The dimensions are listed on this chart, which can be found here on the pre-order announcement page.

I know that, hence why I linked to that image in my previous post...

That's also why I asked the question; what is it that makes the difference in the case sizes, because they look identical to me on the images.

Couple questions?

Does the DG Tuner only work on the in case lights or will it work with fan lights such as Corsair ML140 Pro RGB?

Do you have any thermal stats on it?

Also, what size fans can you put up top and in the back? It says it is including the 120mm fans. But can you replace the top 1x 120mm with 1 or 2 140mm fans?

Well, if you look at the chart and correlate the dimensions with the number of tempered glass sides on each iteration of the case I think you'd have your answer.
It looks like the more glass added the taller and/or wider the case gets. I wouldn't be surprised if the DG-76 and 77 aren't a bit bigger to accommodate the RGB and boost wiring.

For the DG75 both the front and side panel are "frosted" tempered glass.

I wonder how much space there is between the GPU and the side panel if it's mounted vertically.  Way too many cases blow this by smacking the GPU right up close, choking off the air supply.  Please EVGA........get this one stuck right!

Heh, no slot for a disc drive. Welp, so much for this having everything I need. Got super close though with the windowless white one!

You can always get an external DVD/Blu-Ray you can even find reasonably priced enclosure. It seems like more and more cases are starting to go without support for physical media making the external options better.

I think I should refrase.
If trying to mount a FTW3 for example, with a larger PCB, I think (and only can think by the images) that you won't be able to use the horizontal PCI slots for another card.
But, if you use a reference (F.E. for example), that way, I think you might be able to use the PCI slots for another card.

Gonna wait for more pictures and reviews to confirm this.

I've pre-ordered the DG-75 and I'm wondering if it will fit a Noctua NH-D15 (165mm high)

It might be a tight fit.
Looking at the measure on the DG75, it have 211mm on width. but you have to consider cable management compartment as well (say 20/30mm). It should leave you with 180mm +/-.

Does anyone have an idea or know if the dg-77 can squeeze in an e-atx motherboard. I know the description says atx motherboards but I was wondering if the dg-77 can fit e-atx, as in the x299 dark. Looking at some of the pics and videos it’s hard to see but it looks like there is some more space to the right of the motherboard and a cutout. I know of some other atx cases that have room to fit and e-atx mb but don’t list it. Was kinda hoping this is the case with the dg-77 because I was planning on getting the x299 dark when it drops, and I don’t want a giant case. Probably wishful thinking though.

That would make the DG-77 case even more expensive to go with for someone who still like to use optical drive. Internal optical drives are better protected.

@ForSerious, take a look at Phanteks Enthoo Pro M SE case. Not only is it cheaper, it has a 5.25 bay slot. it also has a top dust filter and a quality made PSU filter that you can remove, without having to pick the case up or tilt it over to one side to remove/install it.

Look at the DG-77 product images, what should be there but isn't. That would be images of the dust filters. Once you see how cheap evga went on the PSU filter, you will see why they made the decision not to include any images of them. EVGA DG-77 only has 2 filters, front filter and a PSU filter. The mesh at the top of the case is not a filter. That is to prevent items from falling into the case.

What a quality PSU dust filter looks like (case in this image is the Enthoo Pro M SE)

Cut a square out of this martial below, you will have evga DG-77 PSU dust filter. Check out this >>video<< to see for yourself.

I think adaptation is the only way for EATX fittment.

This and a few other things is ultimately why I canceled my pre-order. I don't feel like getting charged double shipping for a case that was poorly advertised. I am so glad that hardware canucks did a legit review of this case. It looks great, but not for 149 dollars. Seems these days case prices are all over the place and people just charge what ever they want willynilly with no rhyme or reason, from the s340, arguably the best budget 'gamer' case ever made, to the Inwin 805 Infinity, 280 dollars for a piece of garbage all because it looks kinda pretty.

Hahaha wow did you really? I actually did the same thing.  After watching a video of it being used there were a few too many things that bothered me about it. I still love the aesthetic of it but alas, I let that part of it sway me too much. The frame of it being the same as even the lower tiered models feels kinda cruddy and I knew the airflow would be subpar already but I was trying to overlook that. Also the front rgb light that says EVGA being covered by the front panel glass where you can't even see it seems really silly. I guess on the black version you can see it but I find that sloppy being included but not even able to be seen on the white version. Also it seems they still list there being a USB type c port but I saw no evidence of such a port on the actual case. That'll teach me to pre order something like this again :P
