I'm trying to see if there's interest for an ACX Titan X (Pascal) cooler. I'd definitely be interested. Its a lot sleeker and smaller than the Hybrid cooler, and no need to worry about CLCs leaks, and it should be way quieter and cooler than the reference cooler (as the ACX fan typically is).

Hey Jacob, any chance you can let us know if EVGA is working on an ACX cooler, or is it Hybrid cooler only this time? Thanks!

I would have ought a Titan Xp if the ACX3 were available at the time and I still might but for now I'm good with a 1080 FE with ACX3 cooler.

We are currently working on a Hybrid cooler for the Titan X Pascal, see below:

Hi Joseph. From what I have been told the 980 Ti/Titan X Hybrid cooler mounts are compatible with the Titan X Pascal. In theory wouldn't that mean the original Titan X Cooler also is mount compatible with the new Titan X as it should have the same mounting piece? So as long as the locations of the VRMs haven't changed there shouldn't be any reason the old ACX Cooler doesn't work.

What's the big rush? Just wait for the official cooler to come out.

I'd guess the big rush is that nV's reference cooler is complete and utter w*nk, it struggles to do its job even at stock speeds in prolonged heavy use and gets damned loud while failing to do so. A good quality, purpose built aftermarket option feels pretty essential atm, but not everyone has the money / pc space for a full custom waterloop, so need a more reasonable middleground - ie a good air cooler (say something like the acx) or a hybrid kit.

The card is throttling quite a bit at stock fan curve and requires you to bump the fan up. I run my fan at 80% which is loud and the car sits at 80c-84c but this prevents it from throttling, but now my speakers are louder to drown out the card noise. I really am trying to be patient about a new cooling option and I really don't think I want to dive into a water block. I really like corsairs AIO and I would love to try EVGA's AIO gpu cooler! Please give us some news soon I'm ready to buy EVGA!
