I want to get a EVGA 980 FTW, does it already have a blackplate installed. If not which 980 does ???

No it does not come with a back plate. The only one that does is the Hydro Copper At this point in time the only FTW that does come with a back plate is a 970 FTW+ I stand corrected......the 960FTW also has a back plate

Also I have the EVGA Pro SLI Bridge (3-Way/2-Way), will this light up with a 980 installed.

Sorry Sajin your are incorrect, just got my EVGA 980 FTW ACX 2.0, and there are some nice LEDs that show make and Model.
Will post picture later.
Impressed by the EVGA card. Keep up the great work.

My 980 SC cards with the Titan coolers came with backplates. 04G-P4-2982-KR. Same with the standard 980 with Titan cooler. 04G-P4-2980-KR (got it for my wife). Both models have LEDs as well. ..and the EVGA bridge lights up too :)

Thanks for the info. A SLI bridge is not needed for the card to do PhysX.

OK...But I like the evga SLI bridge, and its a waste not to use it. All is working AOK.

Impressed with the GPU temp at idle, mine is at 26degrees. Full load gets to 55degrees.
