There are so many moving parts right now at EVGA, I wouldn't be surprised if they over-notified folks.  One thing you could do to check it is to try to register for the card and the auto-notify window will tell you if you are already in the queue.

I may have accidentally used another email when i signed up for that card...I just found an EVGA notify in another email account of mine. Need to see if I can combine the two/remove one...

The 3767 -KR queue was certainly comprised of French girls this Titanic Tuesday. So without trying to make a meringue out of a marshmallow, exercising the opt-out seems to have paid off for some (see the 3767-KR queue update below). It seems that EVGA had some inventory lying around and the supposedly dormant queue timeline moved a bit over two plus months….
 
Unprecedented.
 
I am not in the 3767 queue and don’t have a dog in this fight, but it really is something that the EVGA marketing and cs teams should have looked at before going down the path…In my opinion, it should have been one queue...something like this:

• If EVGA have a -KR unit on hand, and you are next in the queue, EVGA invite you to purchase it. If you decline, you are out of the queue.

• if they have a -KL unit on hand and you are next in the queue, EVGA invite you to purchase it. If you decline, if they ever get a -KR unit in hand, they ask you...if you decline it, you are then out of the queue.
• if you buy either a -KL or a -KR, you are obviously out of the queue.

It would have taken some more effort on EVGA’s part, but it would have avoided what happened to the 3767 -KR / -KL queues over the last twenty-four hours or so....
 
I don’t blame some folks who didn’t exercise the opt-out for the 3767 and had a registration date between December 4 and mid-February as feeling pretty hard done.... That said, I am confident that EVGA is trying to do the best they can…they don’t have any incentive to put the thumb on the scale as between a -KL and a -KR queue.
 
Regardless, we go again tomorrow.
