and i'll sell my current 3080ti for what I bought this for and its a wash.  Why would you comment if you're just going to be rude? 

Is the 3883-KR OOP? It's on my queue but hasn't moved in ages. I thought all -KR models were replaced with KL

Interesting. I wonder what materials that make up this card are so difficult to source.

That was my understanding as well. But they never moved my queue for this product to a KL equivalent. I've tried calling customer service about it twice. On person seemed more helpful than the other, but who knows which is telling the full answer.

I will check again later tonight to make sure I didn't miss any reports, but the enewt extended family Dune watch party™ is kicking off in less than 20 minutes, so I am going to keep this short and sweet: Drops happened on this Fabrication Friday...but not enough (in my opinion).

I have two questions mainly, and if it can be cited to an official source I would be happy to be pointed in the right direction:
 
1.) Does the fact that my queue is still active mean I was placed into the queue automatically for the LHR variant of this card. I have seen people say both that I'm SOL, and that they were going to place people into the LHR variant queue automatically.
 
2.) If placed in the queue for the LHR variant do you keep you original position or did they transfer us to the back of the line.

1a) You have an active queue for the -KR card.  This card is very unlikely to be manufactured since the part number represents a model using the non-LHR 3080 chip, something nvidia is no longer supplying.
1b) EVGA has stated that they will move people to the LHR (-KL) queue automatically if they proceed with manufacturing and restocking cards currently still listed with a -KR code (except 3090 -always non-LHR -KR, 3080Ti always LHR -KR, and 3060 always LHR -KR, in two revisions).  The fact that they have not yet moved 3895 to a -KL yet does not bode well for the future of this model number... sorry.  That is not a final answer, just the way it's looking.
2) If you (and others) get placed into the 3895-KL queue then you keep your relative position to all other people in the original line.

So, it might be a bit controversial an opinion, but I quite enjoyed Dune. Being a fan of the books, to now see it through a second lens (technically, third after D. Lynch's vision)...I appreciate that the intellectual property is getting further investment.  AT&T (and soon to be discovery) have no choice but to invest in "Part 2".  The biggest failing in all of this is that AT&T didn't believe enough in the property or in the viewers to greenlight and shoot both films up front.  It is going to be a long time until we get to see more of Arrakis. And that is a pity.
 
It is the rare day in Los Angeles when it rains, but today is that day. So this amphibian is going to make the most of it and find some puddles in which to adventure.

So I unwisely joined the associate program years ago, I've never used it. This is the reminder that I need to fix that so if I ever finally get my queue spot so I can use yours. Whats the right way to do that without blowing up my elite status and all that? 

If you go to the Associate Page you can decline your Associate membership, but...PLEASE KEEP IN MIND...it is a one way exit. EVGA does not allow you to rejoin the program down the road.  Leaving the Associate program should not change your Elite status.

Are you sure about that? That is the first I've heard about that.

You also forfeit any unused EVGA Bucks you got from the program.
If you go to the associates terms page and scroll down to the "General Terms and Conditions for the Associates Program" it confirms it;
"Former EVGA Associates members become ineligible to sign up again for the EVGA Associates Program at the time of the cancellation or termination of their Associates membership"
