As I wrote in an intro last week on the first anniversary of the Queue announcement, I’ve partnered with EVGA on the design of a t-shirt. Starting today, the t-shirt is available for purchase in the EVGA.com store (small, medium, large, XL, 2XL, 3XL). There are also three additional ways of securing a free bit of cloth to commemorate your time on our watch, eating s’mores, trading tall tales of past gaming glory and verbally jousting over who – truly – is the saltiest among us.
 
With the release of this shirt, no longer will your grandchildren doubt your unbelievable – yet nevertheless (mostly) accurate – tale of patience and comradeship, of hardship and sacrifice, of redemption and perseverance – as you will have indisputable evidence that there was once a queue of epic proportions…and that you conquered it. (“Listen here Jensenia Jacobson...I want to tell you about the time that I sat in front of my computer hitting the F5 key over and over again, threw my computer keyboard out the window before retrieving it (Duct Tape fixes everything), and then waited with a whole community of similarly situated souls for over a year before a company sent me an email permitting me to spend my life savings on a computer component...all so I could play games with better graphics...what is it, dear?  What's a keyboard?  It was a tool that allowed people to communicate with computers...no, we didn't have implanted Google Guardians™ back then.... It’s a true story…I have this shirt that proves it….")
 
So, how can you get some free evidence of your gamer cred? Three ways:
 
  1. The first 500 folks who purchase a 30 series from the North American queue using my associate code will get a free “I Survived” t-shirt thrown in (I funded 365 units for this giveaway and EVGA graciously bumped the number up to 500 in total; thanks EVGA!). T-Shirt size can be selected during checkout.
  2. Additionally, the first fifty 30 series orders utilizing the associate code of certain “top” associate members (EVGA reached out to those associates last night via email; they should know who they are) will get the option to include the “I Survived” t-shirt in their order for free. T-Shirt size can be selected during checkout.
  3. For those in our community that have already secured a 30 series card from the queue, there will be a drawing for a chance to win one of 500 “I survived” t-shirts (official rules and how to enter can be found here). To enter the random drawing, you must:
              i.    have purchased a 30 series card from the queue and either (a) used an associate code during checkout or (b) be an associate member (and therefore prohibited from using an associate code at checkout);
              ii.    register the purchased card at EVGA.com; and
              iii.    be an Elite member (once you register the 30 series card from the queue, you become eligible to be an Elite member; see this page for information on becoming an Elite member).
 
I intended the t-shirt giveaway as a thank you to the community for keeping enewt jr. and me company on our watch. And while the free shirts won’t reach everybody who has contributed a lot or a little to this community over the last year plus – for example, BovineGamer who heroically tracked the EU queues for many months is not based in North America and therefore not eligible for the giveaway – I hope folks who receive a free shirt or buy one from the EVGA.com store will wear it proudly and recall fondly from time to time our shared experience in the Queues. It humbles me to acknowledge the uncomfortable truth that but for all of you, I would have caved to the scalpers many, many unsuccessful Titanic Tuesdays ago. Thank you for being part of this camel-riffic ordeal.
 
As many of us (and, EVGA inventory and shipping gods willing, eventually all of us) shuffle off the wall to await our friendly, neighborhood UPS drivers at our curbs, please remember that somewhere in California there is a small amphibian and his offspring that are especially appreciative that we were all able to come together around this virtual campfire (Narrator: Occasionally it was more like a salty dumpster fire) and bond through a sharing of our respective frustrations, our personal stories – of gaming or otherwise, and our nomoss’s photoshop skills.

Update 10/5/2021
Everyone,

As we continue to monitor the queue to get cards to gamers sooner, we appreciate all the feedback to help us to improve the queue system.

Due to the overwhelming demand for the 30 Series Products, our first step was to close the notify queue until we can fulfill them. Management team then took an extra step to prioritize those that have not received a card versus others who have been able to get multiple GPU’s.

After reading the feedback, there were legitimate concerns about retroactively changing the queue function. We are sorry for any frustration this caused, this was not the company’s intention. Today we are going to make the following updates:

1.    The queue system will be rolled back to the previous rule.
  • Anyone who missed a card from Monday, October 4th, will be notified on the next release.
  • EVGA will continue to send notifies through October 8th.
2.    In order to get cards to gamers sooner, please go to the notify page at https://www.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp and keep only the top two cards selected that you would like to purchase, and remove the others.
  • On October 11th, 2021, the system will only lookup and send notifies based on your two oldest entries.
  • Going forward, the queue system will only allow for two 30 Series notifies on the current lineup.
  • EVGA strongly suggests to keep the FTW3 ULTRA or XC3 ULTRA models due to consistent supply compared to limited supply on K|NGP|N, HYDRO COPPER and HYBRID due to supply constraints.
  • EVGA is also going to be adding SMS verification to the checkout process for all notifications to catch bot orders.
3.    The queue system will not be turned back on until the current queues are fulfilled.
4.    The checkout window is 20 hours from the time of notification released.

EVGA appreciates your feedback to continue improving the queue system to deliver 30 Series cards into as many gamers hands as possible.

Yep, I saw them. I'm purchasing it for someone else & selling it at MSRP, they're ecstatic because they thought it would be at least another month or so for the queue to move the 32 minutes to get to my position from last week when I checked.  
 
I'm also still in queue for the 3080 FTW3 Hybrid but I expect that to never get hit even though I'm only 10 minutes away LOL

My 3987 status says False. I registered a card from the same model that I bought from another vendor and now my queue for this exact SKU is False. Anyone else with similar situation ?


I only have one card in the Queue.

They never stated what the issue was. On 9/17/2021 I had to contact them because the part number in my Queue was 10G-P5-3897-KR. I wanted to know if I was out of luck because the card was not offered anymore. They changed it to the KL. Maybe they only offer help twice with the Queue? IDK

Did you contact them trough  webmaster@evga.com or did you use other e-mail ?
