Seems like a decent deal and definitely hold your position in the EVGA line until BB actually shows you the card.

@KaosEvga I happened to find a working link by searching post histories on Reddit. The spreadsheet, by the way, is where these queue summary posts get their information from. It may not be this directly, but essentially it's the same information, but with more detail.
 
Another thing I want to address - EVGA automatically switched those in a queue for a -KR version of a card (I don't remember which off the top of my head) to a different model of the same card, this being a -KL version. This was due to them coming out with LHR cards to combat miners buying cards intended for gamers. So, it would be plausible to assume that meant that EVGA was not going to produce the former -KR version of the card in order to fulfill those queued customers' needs and for future sales. If EVGA knew they weren't going to produce any more 3070 xc3 black cards, why wasn't the same consideration taken for persons in that queue?
 
Ok......wait a minute. I was in the middle of this reply, and I happened to stumble upon multiple retailers selling a -KL LHR version of the xc3 black. EVGA has no listing on their products page for this card. I thought it was a mistake when I first saw it, but I have seen several advertisements to back it up. The question I started to ask a paragraph ago is all the more relevant after finding this information. From all of this, I can't see there being that many possibilities of what's going on. First, are people fraudulently producing cards in EVGA's name that look EXACTLY like them? I would have a hard time believing that, as there is a picture of the box with a printed serial number on it, reading 08G-P5-3751-KL. If EVGA is making -KL versions of the 3070 xc3 black, it appears that they have neglected the queue list for that card when transferring other -KR models' queue lists to -KL versions.

We cannot assume corporations will act out of kindness in situations like these.  Their primary motive is to maximize shareholder value, and as such they will produce the SKUs that make the most margin, or allocate the SKUs to the channels that represent the highest profit for them.  I do think EVGA has been above average in this regard, but you would be naive to think that first right of refusal is going to the internal queue first and other channels second.

3797 needs a massive drop

The shipping speed of 3657 has been accelerated recently. I hope that the output will continue to open so that more players can buy graphics cards.

It's Friday. Thirteen days into August. Almost eleven months into this NVIDIA Tech Launch Debacle of 2020-2023™.
 
And while so many of us -- too many of us -- remain on our watch, this week I finally got the sense that we are closer to the end than to the beginning.  The 3897-KL remains in queue announcement date registration congestion and the more recently launched titanium-infused cards remain in their launch hours, but so many others are progressing hours -- if not days -- through their respective timelines. I've seen more and more anecdotal stories of folks cancelling their queue registrations because they were able to pick up a card at a local retailer or via another means.
 
If you are still reading these introductions and summaries, it means that your time has not yet come (or you are just a little messed up in the head...or both). I hope your time comes soon. And for our European brothers and sisters on their watch, I hope the drops start to flow like a summer storm in the plains of Spain; y'all have waited (mostly) patiently and continued to hope against hope. You are overdue (“So say we all.”).

Grrrrr.  I should have splurged for the faster shipping!  Got my e-mail and purchased my 3080ti FTW Ultra 3967 last Wednesday, but chose the UPS Ground option.  For the first 6 days there were NO updates on the tracking (other than "shipped from CA").  Finally yesterday it showed up in my state (FL) last night, but then the location was removed and it just said "Delayed". :-(  I keep having nightmares of a UPS driver "loosing" the package and eBaying it for a pretty penny...
 
They finally gave me a new updated ETA of tomorrow by 7pm, but what a bad decision to take the slow shipping on something I've been waiting nearly 2 years for! lol  So save yourself the anxiety, and maybe choose something OTHER than the slowest/cheapest option! ;-P

It finally arrived last night!  Woohoo! However, it's not working with my Odyssey G9 in full 5120x1440 resolution. >:-(
 
BIOS screen shows fine (in full screen), but as soon as Windows 10 pro starts NADA.  My old EVGA GTX 980 wouldn't show the BIOS, but ran full screen 5120x1440 with no problem.  Now I get to troubleshoot - oh joy.  Yes, all drivers and FW on the GPU side are all updated; I have a suspicion that the monitor is not up to date, but the Samsung website shows NO FW downloads at all for my specific monitor revision (G97), though just last month they posted an update for the G95 revision.  Need to call them for clarification...

yes, I felt a little sad using my 20% discount on basically the cheapest card. I threw in enewt's code and together they basically paid for the shipping to Canada. Was really hoping to to be able to use the code on one of the 3080 Ti cards, but the code expires in a couple of weeks, so I decided to use it now instead of losing it.

 
Well you could do the step up program and pay the difference and still get that 20% off...one way to think about it

I don't have the card yet but others here have had Displayport problems until a new bios came out. Although that had to do with NOT seeing the bios screen. If you're using the Displayport port make sure you updated the bios with the latest PrecisionX1. Maybe it will help.
 
And start a new thread describing your problem so more people will see it.
