Well I signed up for auto-notify queue on the 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra at 12:07pm EST.
 
In my case its for a future build.  I may pass on it.  Its $1,399, I already have a 3090 FTW3 Ultra in my primary rig and a ASrock Phantom Gaming 6900XT in my secondary rig.  The future Rig I am planning will be when the AM5 CPUs are out and it will likely replace my Secondary which will be repurposed.  
 
Gamers Nexus review saw issues with the Founders 3080 Ti and generally thought it was a bad choice due to thermals, I assume the AIBs will not have thermal issues.  My concern is that generally by the time I build that next rig I might be able to find a comparable priced 6900 XT or later version AMD based card that will be a better value.
 
$1,399 is a lot for what is essentially a slightly purposely "gimped" 3090...

I logged in before they enabled 3080ti que. Ten minutes before the system kicked me out, than the server crashed so I couldn't log back in. During the period to follow it loaded login page, took 5 minutes to login, to be presented with that lovely cookies message. Completely uninstalled browser, reinstalled, cleared all cookies, another half hour to login, to be presented with the cookies message. Needless to say it took me 4hrs 30 minutes to get into que and I was on evga website 30 minutes before que started. Seems a bit unfair I'm at the 4hr and 30 minute mark when I was on 30 minutes before launch.

Real gamer here left out in the cold, bots and scalpers winners, but it doesn't matter to evga, all their gpus will sell regardless who buys them.

 
I was set up a good 2 hours beforehand and got kicked out... to be honest, as could be seen from the forums, the demand was there to be seen.

I think a lot of gamers got their hands on cards (at least I hope so), the website trying to filter out bots and scalpers also puts strain on the servers, remember that.

What is this Elite Coupon folks speak of??  I'm aware of the 5% off Assoc code for GPUs...but an extra code that stacks??  Where can I get one???

The Associate’s Code is now 3% for GPUs, not 5%.  EVGA made the change for all codes at the beginning of 2021.
 
New Elite members can get a single spin of a wheel that can give them a discount coupon (90 day expiration on it). The Associate’s Code discount stacks with any discount the fresh-faced Elite member received. (Long term elite folks like us are old news and do not get a chance to spin the wheel...I don't know why.)

Do we know if EVGA sends a big batch at once (say 50) or smaller numbers ones over time?  Any idea when we'll know the time this drop gets up to?

Usually they drop the whole day's allotment for that particular SKU at once...sometimes there is smaller second drop of that SKU, but that is EXTREMELY rare.
