Apologies for the lateness of the summary tonight. As the new school year kicks off, work heats up, and jr.'s soccer practice gets rescheduled at the last minute, something had to get pushed. The late afternoon drop by EVGA didn't help matters...reports were still dropping while I was at the soccer pitch. But, it's all small stuff, right?

You know that feeling when you draft a work email until about 1:30 am in the morning, decide to give it a fresh look in the morning before sending it out, then do the dishes until about 2 am only to wake up, take your daughter to school, come back to your computer to find out that Outlook has decided it no longer accepts your password, that the alternative email for your work password is your IT team's admin email address, that it is not yet 10 am so IT are not yet up from their all night gaming session (no judgment), and you cannot get your email out? I know, very specific right?!?  Well, I guess the email will have to wait until after my dental appointment this morning....
 
So, yeah, Camel Day for this amphibian is starting off in the fouled muck of the abandoned tributary of our collective pond. But, yes, it is all small stuff. 
 
If you have a moment today, spare a good thought for those dealing with the aftermath of the Hurricane Ida or whom are facing their own challenges outside of their control (this email thing...I am sure, somehow, it is my fault; 100%). 
 
And, camels...let's ride!

I wouldn't freak out.  EVGA should get you sorted.  Let us know if for whatever reason they don't and we will send nasty tweets at JacobF.

Like enewt said, don't need to worry too much.  You are not the only one and EVGA pulled through for them.  I saw a lot of Jacob's reply tweets concerning missed email notifies and he just said the EVGA will sort them out by replying to the email.

Hello all, so how long does it realistically take to (possibly) have an notice to buy a 3090 card?  Would it just be easier to wait for the preorder of the 3090 super?

Supers will likely have the same issue.  In the context of which is easier, why not do both?  It just takes a few minutes to click the auto-notify button for the cards that you would be willing to purchase...you're waiting anyway, why not maximize your chances....

Why do you always assume that just because a 3797 isn't reported, that they are not dropping at all? I am a few seconds away in the same queue you are, and I may or may not post that I have received a notification. Not everyone has the time to bother with the forums.
