You register for the notification and get put into a queue with a date and timestamp. Once your queue is up, you have the option to buy the card you signed up for

Similarly since I've gotten a card, dropping out of these queues as well. Since they're all relatively recent entries; it's probably not going to affect things much all things considered.

I'm not sure if it was this thread but somewhere I read that people who missed their in stock notifications can email EVGA and they might give you your spot back. Whoever typed that I love you. I passed on the notification back in September. I was able to get a 3080 ftw3 KR a couple weeks ago :)

12/1 8:15a sign up for a 3060Ti. Its only been a 8mo 10day wait so far....  Now I'm '9 min out'...which puts it at what? Another month? Two? Is total availability of these 1 per day? Less?

For the first 6 days there were NO updates on the tracking (other than "shipped from CA"). Finally yesterday it showed up in my state (FL) last night, but then the location was removed and it just said "Delayed". :-( I keep having nightmares of a UPS driver "loosing" the package and eBaying it for a pretty penny...
They finally gave me a new updated ETA of tomorrow by 7pm, but what a bad decision to take the slow shipping on something I've been waiting nearly 2 years for! lol So save yourself the anxiety, and maybe choose something OTHER than the slowest/cheapest option! ;-P

I didn't say I was in the queue for 2 years! ;-P I built my new 3950x PC December of 2019 with the plan to get the new Ampere card when it dropped in September 2021. Kept using my old GTX 980 in the meantime. Then COVID and all the shortages hit and you know the rest. I didn't get on the EVGA queue at first because a friend was in line to get me a 3090 at an incredible price (he'd already gotten one), but then that vendor reneged and by then the EVGA queues were WAY full up. So I finally managed EVGA Elite access and spammed refresh for the 3080ti and still waited nearly 3 months (1hr 48min into the queue opening). So yeah - I've been waiting for nearly 2 years now, just not in the queue. :-D

Let us know when you get it. I'm in Florida too. Ground shipping from CA makes me worry too much. I always select expedited shipping when I can afford it.
