Hey!

I don't like this at all really..

It's very noisy and it says on some places on the box that it's "ultra quiet" and stuff.
Does not seem good to do that false advertising?

Have a look here:

I have some quit fans from Corsair on my chassi. They spin at like 600-800 RPM and does not make a sound. The only thing that make sound is that 140mm PSU fan.. I bought this PSU cause it was high Watts and it said all over that it was a quiet fan. And i've seen and built other computers with some of you'r PSU's.
like i said. false advertising :(

Well, couple of points.

A quiet fan is not the same thing as quiet ramp up program.
They did not say that the fan would be off at low loads.

I understand your disappointment, but not understanding the specifications is not the same thing as false advertising.
Perhaps if you asked nicely, they might allow an exchange for a different model. But there is no sense in starting off with a belligerent attitude.

This is customers rating of EVGA 1600 G2... I would say excellent.
Criterions are different. If someone used to fans work on 600RPM...

I understand the speccs and there there is no ramp up program built in it. It runs at highest fan speed all the time. I don't know the RPM but it's fast.
I've put my whole system under load to make the PSU go up in temps to see if the fan does ramp up in speed. but it does not, cause it's in full load all the time.

And what attitude? I just wanna know what they have to say about this false advertising, as it is false.

And why do i even talk to you. I wanna get hold of someone that really works on EVGA. Not a random fan boy.

Correct, I suggest you contact support.

Here is where you remain wrong. The fan is exactly what they advertise.
