this is a fairly interesting set of contest. i found it very tricky at the beginning to sing up for each one, since the registration is all the way at the bottom and for me its easy to skip. but now im signed up and ready to go. ive never won a contest before but there is nothing to lose :) good luck to everyone and may the luckiest people cut us unlucky people some slack and let us win :D

Dont feel bad Im still stuck on 5/10 and been looking for 3 days on and off. I got 2 out of 5 of the mfg likes but those are not ribbons. Wanting to choke the lucky ones LOL

would my video get disqualified if it's 40 seconds?( i've done everything to keep it as short as possible but my best is 40 seconds...)i can cut the 1st 10 seconds but then it would ruin the video...

Found all the ribbons, here's hoping I have better luck this year

I really need this. I just got a GTX770 and it is hardly cutting it, I don't need those 4000$ pc's or the 5000$ prizes, I just need a 780Ti.

I laugh a little bit ever year also at these sign up dates.

A lot, and I do mean a lot of people sign up just for the contests every year and don't post again after that.

I worked for a company that made soot blowers and cleaners for coal powered power plants,for a glass making company,and a aircraft manufacturer. 59 yrs of age and enjoy gaming. Hope you get to enjoy your retirement !
 
to dave2hot4you--I could not answer your above question in the new member forum because my pm is locked for now,,but thanks !!for your interesting career .I was an automotive machinist for the first 14 years building Outlaw sprint car engines ..actually I just did the machine work grinding crankshafts and boring cylinders  and milling aluminum racing heads and line boring the blocks...loved it each engine when completed was around 30,000.00 dollars  they were the little wing super fast dirt track cars but outlaws were the top in that class..anyway after that I went to work actually learng  G -code and running CNC machines building parts for Haliburton mostly oil field parts I ran lathes by Mazak,daewoo,Lablond,hiunday..brands I can think of right now and a mill bridgport..but then enrolled in college night classes and learn Auto Cad anyway I wish I was still able to physically do that work ,because now I'm stuck with about 15,000.00 worth of tools Ha that I'm sure you understand..but you working on planes was something I always wanted to do ...because in my computing world now I have over 300 planes loaded in my flight simulator and own about 15 different flight games .that's why I'm hoping to win some stuff maybe because I'm building a new gaming machine as we speak will be sending pictures soon.
