Is there any way to get the cob and components schematics for an EVGA GTX 1080 Ti?
I have one with water damage, I have tools and some experience fixing electronics.
And wondering if EVGA is kind enough to provide the schematics needed for a repair.

I would say most likely not, but like Ahowes said, contact them directly.

Hello ByReaL! Unfortunately, the electronic schematics are not made publicly available for any graphics cards or other PCBs. If it is a 1080Ti SC Black Edition or Founder's Edition, then you might want to try asking NVIDIA directly as those are reference PCBs. If it is a SC2 or FTW3 model, we would not be able to provide those schematics. I apologize for any inconvenience.

If, the only damage is water and the GPU was not energized,  there's no need for schematics. You just need to barebones the GPU, ie remove all components, shroud, thermal tape, clean any TIM residue. Get a rectangular plastic container large enough to hold the GPU. Using 90% IPA, (don't use other solvents) soak the board and gently clean with a soft brush. Rinse with fresh IPA, blow off any excess with a hair dryer on warm or cool if you have one. Let dry overnight.

Does it matter what brand IPA you use, I prefer Elysian beers /jk

I called EVGA Support and spoke to a live breathing human.  I asked if EVGA provides out of warranty repair for a 1080 Ti Sc.  If not, could they refer me to an authorized service provider.  The answer to both questions was "No".   And yes, I checked the serial number in their database. which clearly indicated the board is out of warranty.

Without a schematic I can only trace the 12v line past the first resistor labeled R505.  As shown is a YouTube video, there should be 12v on pins 3 and 5 of the edge connector.  Any attempt to troubleshoot further is a SWAG at best.
Does anyone know of a qualified repair service provider, or where I might find a pirated schematic to allow me to keep from throwing a $750 GPU in the trash?

BTW: The YouTube 1080 Ti Sc repair videos mean well, and may be helpful to some, but none of the videos I watched were based on good troubleshooting practices.  I spent over 25 years as a bench tech for a major manufacturer and "baking in the oven" was never seen, documented or taught.  I learned how each of the components function to make voltage and signal following as the proper way to diagnose and repair complex circuits.  The methods I observed in these videos were more like shotgunning, or just start changing parts until you hit the defective item.   However, I give these guys credit for at least trying to fix what the manufacturer refuses to accept.  I did find EVGA UK will actually repair out of warranty GPU cards should any of you wish to take the time and expense to ship it to Manchester.
