My Card:
EVGA 1080 TI FTW3 (without owerclocking)

Problem:
Graphic artefacts (vertical lines)

When it happened:
When display turning on after Windows IDLE and sometimes after sleep mode.
This problem happeden once a day, every day.
I tried 3 latest Nvidia drivers, but without any changes.
When I played in games — it's ok, without artefacts. Problem happening only when display is turning on.

Artefacts disappears after reboot.

My Specs:
Processor: i7 4790K
Memory: 16 Gb DDR3
Mobo: Asus Z97-P
Power Supply: Aerocool Strike-X 800W

    Hello,

    Welcome to the forums.

Have you tried using different cables and/or monitor to see if the issue persists? What are the temps of your video card?

    Hello,

    Welcome to the forums.

    Hi Gabriel.

    Temps is in normal.

In Windows 10 I have power settings to turn off monitor after 10 minutes and turn off computer after 1 hour.
For example, there is desktop without any running programs, I'm going away from the computer for 30 minutes, at this time Windows turning off the monitor (the computer continues to work), but when I return and move the mouse - I've got turned on monitor with the artifact.

I'm using DisplayPort cable on Acer Predator 27" WQHD monitor.

In Windows 10 power settings i have balanced mode, now i'm switched to high performance.
I hope this helps. Tomorrow I'll let you know.

Can you replicate this issue if you put your system to sleep then wake it up after 1-2 minutes?

Also, try these settings in the nvidia control panel:

"Manage 3D settings" > change power management mode to prefer maximum performance or adaptive if maximum doesn't change anything.

You might want to check out the manul for your monitor as well to see if they mention anything about power saving mode, etc..
