I know there is another thread, but since we know the card exists, we have pictures and some info, I thought a separate thread was warranted.

So it's the same price as a FTW with a different PCB? Should I cancel my preorder of FTW for this.

Not the same price.  He was stating "greater than" the price of the FTW.  And you are right, it isn't the same PCB.  The classified has 14+3 and the FTW is 10+2 power phases.

What use is knowledge if there is no understanding?~Stobaeus

The real question now is water block support.

Any estimates on availability in EU? June?

Wonderful card, would be great if it came just in time for summer holidays.

    Really!? Oh my...

To be honest, it looks like the PNY/GIGABYTE/ASUS competition... where's the soul of EVGA? One thing I ever loved about EVGA was their maturity in industrial-design.

    Edit...

While I don't like the new EVGA design... the competition isn't exactly pretty either. The MSI Gaming X is nice as ever... but you have to like red. IMO GPU design has been exceedingly mediocre as of late. The XFX 290X, EVGA 980 Ti KPE and Asus 780 Ti Matrix Platinum are my most recent favorites.

    So pretty...

Absolutly not... I'm sorry (EVGA 1080 Classy), but it looks like a downgrade... I miss the precious aspects.

P.S.: Indeed, the MSI looks terrific... I'm wating for the Ti...

That's for classified right? So SC ACX3.0 will be even earlier?

Very pretty! Now, is there going to be an official announcement about ETA and, most importantly, waterblock availability?

According to GamersNexus the classified will have a custom Bios already onboard - but is yet unknown if that allows to overvolt beyond 1.25V...

Are the versions with waterblocks available at the same time as the air cooled version ?  Usually I go with reference cards and EK blocks, but rebranding reference cards with the founders bullcrap really turned me off on nvidia this release.  Such crap charging $100 more for one of the worst versions of the card on the market.

Well you could get 08G-P4-5180-KR and just put a WB on it, I guess it'll be the same result as doing it with a founder ones but 90$ cheaper... It's the same pcb, so same WB support, only thing that changes is the shroud ^-^
