Part of their new "Quantum" design philosophy, today saw the addition of more versions to choose from. In particular, for those who felt having 24 RGB LEDs displaying the same color was not enough, EKWB has introduced two (each for Intel and AMD sockets) digital addressable RGB LED versions to allow for every single LED to shine a different hue. The EK-Velocity D-RGB CPU block comes in a nickel/plexi or nickel/acetal version for Intel and AMD sockets and are priced at 99.90€ and 99.90€ respectively (inc. VAT in EU). These are looking pretty good in my opinion. Prices seem to be reasonable.

My serious advice for people who want to keep longer time watercooling is to avoid EKWB.
They are nice out of box and nice pictures on internet but there is more quality watercooling companies where RGB is not priority.
Whole Velocity series is launched with zero performance improvements to satisfied kids who want light show in computer.

I afraid that Watercool could launch Heatkiller V before new DDR5 platform show up.
Or I would bought instantly now Heatkiller IV Pro Black Copper CPU block, black nickel plated copper, full metal and put him in table to wait new platform. No any way to invest money in Monoblocks.

I think visuals play a huge role in the market and it would be dumb to ignore it. Even for the people doing water cooling it's not because it's a necessity, rather, it's for visuals which is exactly why companies aren't just selling black tubes and non colored liquid in the first place.

With some brands you can get and visual and quality.
Why hard tubes need to be used... Personal I don't like them at all.
I like soft tubes and flat glass tubes.
Not fan of petg or acrylic tubing at all, first is expensive, second it's much easier to leak and if I need to invest 300$ for fittings only than I would rather use angled connectors and flat glass tube. Special because petg and acrylic is constantly used with yellow, greed, blue or white coolant and become bored.

What is wrong with this block... there is and for Intel. Check online, look inside, fins, screws, plate, mounting bracket.

Different strokes for different folks.  I personally find the heatkiller stuff to be really ugly.  And honestly if you are watercooling, and do it right, the temp difference you will see vs air is so huge the difference between blocks starts to not matter.  Especially the graphics cards.

RGB is fine. In fact, the best thing about RGB lighting is that it can be disabled.

Best thing is if you never enable him. Only to look him could cost me 200$ more for whole computers if I choose all parts with RGB.
Heatkiller are not ugly at all, maybe they are not much more nicer than EKWB but that's best quality watercooling parts and have very smart expandable solution. You don't need to buy another reservoir if you want bigger or smaller tube or if you want to add RGB.
And installation mechanism is more durable easier to work. And off course Heatkiller IV PRO is for 5-6C better than Supremacy EVO.
But Copper models. Anthracite, Nickel and Black Copper, that's black Nickel platted copper, whole block is metal, simple from 3 parts, not jets inside, more precise and quality fins inside, top quality, really, weak marketing section and longer work on every waterblock model are culprits because I didn't pay attention on them.

Only look how is EK politic is evil.
They didn't want to build top of reservoir with RGB to customer pay 10-15 euro part and install top of reservoir and enjoy in RGB.
They build RGB on different way and customers need to buy whole reservoir.
Such thing could tell you much more than only lack of RGB, same as building Supremacy EVO in form of Velocity only because visual improvement. Watercool have different politic. I don't want to make so big impact on my budget to replace whole loop again because that's absurd, but because I need one more radiator I will buy 2 GTS 360, sold my Coolstream PE, when DDR5 platform show up replace Monoblock with Heatkiller IV PRO full metal.
