I thought i would post this any way if any one wants it some people say it fixed problems with some games when other say it did nothing Microsoft say this When you run the DirectX Diagnostics Tool (Dxdiag.exe) on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, the diagnostic tool incorrectly reports a DirectX 11 device as a DirectX 10.1 device. This incorrect version information is shown in the DDI field on the Display tab. This problem is only a reporting error. This problem does not affect the DirectX 11 hardware or software functionality of the graphics card. Source Download

Its a known bug but your games will still run DX11. AFAIR there is a fix for it (you would need Google it).

1st TAB means nothing ! It would say DX11 if you have a G-Force TI 4600 (DX8.1) That only means you have Vista (updated) or win 7 and are running DX11 software. The important part is the DDI and it will ONLY say DX11 if you have DX11 hardware and Vista (updated) or Win 7. My DDI is obv only 10 but my DX is 11.

Boogyman93 How the heck could your screen be a 59hz? In my control panel, I have the option to set mine to either 59 or 60hz.

Since this affects all DX11 video cards and only for Windows 7 and Windows 2008 server products I'll move this to the Windows 7 section. By the way this is a scheduled fix for Service Pack 1

By the way this is a scheduled fix for Service Pack 1 this should of stayed in EVGA GeForce 400 Series forums because only the 400 series cards only run DX11 when this mite be a problem with Windows 7 and Windows 2008 but has nothing to do with any other products than the 400 series!

We also have EVGA forum members using EVGA motherboards with DX 11 ATI video cards so it affects them as well. Your post is very important so I believe it needs to be in the Windows 7 section.
