Does the 2070 have artifacts and stop working like the 2080 and 2080ti?

i am extremely concerned because i literally just bought a  2070 XC gaming from amazon, and literally one hour after i buy i see this video pop up on my news feed. ( a video from a popular youtuber that says his 2070 card died, NOT FROM EVGA, different AIB partner)
 
 
Now granted this 2070 that died was of another AIB partner, but i am extremely concerned if this is a design flaw by nvidia, because i live in trinidad and tobago, having to RMA a card is painful.

so i ask , is anyone having problems with their EVGA 2070?

    All brands and models of cards will have a percentage which will die early or will be dead right out of the box.  This is common and has happened for decades.  According to all sources, the fail rate with RTX cards has not been abnormally high and has not affected any brand or model more than any other brand or model.  Yes, yours could be received dead or may die early.  Or, yours could be received in working condition and could work properly for years.
     
    Quit worrying about that which you have zero control over.

    Yes , all turing rtx gpu have a percentage of fail ( more of others series).
    But fortunatly is 1 piece of 1000 or less . Otherwise nvidia now would have failed

    Amazon is a great store and your warranty is solid
    Moreover the evga rma is present.

    The RTX 2070 come later and the problems with the VRAM/solder have been already fixed.
     
    Only the first branch of 2080 and 2080 ti had the problems, however it was still rare.

    With "more of other series " ,i meant pascal , maxwell ecc not other turing.
