If so, did you get a classified-backplate for it? if yes, where and how did you get it?

Thanks,

They had to removed them due to issues when two cards on air are next to each other.

    Yup, maybe early AUG.

So I will have to add another 18 € + shipping to have a backplate on my 659.90 € card?

The classy didn't ship with a backplate, but one is available soon. Why all the complaining? They won't fit on middle cards in 3/4 way SLI, so realistically you'd only need 1 for your top card, or two if you had 2 in SLI.

And yes, the classy is $659. No it doesn't include a backplate or evbot. Yet it is only $30 more than the FTW card and gives you a better card with the ability to increase voltages in the future if you wish, in additional to most likely having a higher boost clock. I don't get all the crying about it. If you want the flagship card, you'll have to pay for it. Nothing new. Yes, I think locking voltages on the 680 was a greedy stupid scam by nvidia, but this is a way around it, so either take it or don't.

Even if there is some problems when using this card in 3/4-way SLI, IMO Evga should let you have the option to choose if you want it included or not. Maybe do 2 versions of the card. 1 card with the backplate and 1 without.
It is not that I do not want to pay for having the flagship-card, but I think it is a bad Idea to sell a card like this without the option to get a backplate for it. The 580 Classy had that.
I hope the backplate will become available soon.
