Don't know.  Nothing new on the Tech Support forums.  It says on there AMD Catalyst 12.4 isn't working properly with d3, but I am using that driver, and it works fine...

I'm going to say that it's possible to go SLI, but each individual player may experience problems with their own setup.  I've been only using 1 out of 2 6990s, and that's like a crossfire of two gpus (6970?), so since I am not experiencing any problems, I would imagine that 2-way SLI should work.  I'm planning to try quadfire tonight while doing nightmare-mode runs with my guildes.

Somebody mention earlier on the the EVGA forum that SLI and MSI/EVGA Precision X causes crashes, but that's not completely true...

"Diablo III does not support SLI or Crossfire configurations. If you try to play Diablo III with either configuration enabled, you may experience serious performance issues, or the game may not run at all.".

I don't get crashes but only one of my 7970's registers any usage at all.  Have not had any issues with keeping Xfire enabled.

I've been playing since day one with SLI enabled and precision shows both cards being used. I have not had one single crash and the game runs as smooth as ever. I have the max frame rate at 200 and it pegs 200 the entire time. Using the 296.10 drivers

Quadfire shows gpu 1 utilized from 60 to 78%.  The rest are at 0%.  Vram was around 535 to 600 MBs divided by 4 gpus.  No issues what so ever.  Constant 58 to 60 fps.

I have SLI enabled when I play and it shows both GPUs at around 30%. Weird.

They have to get it SLI enabled in the near future, that would be ridiculous not to take advantage of the technology. I have been running it with SLI enabled and have not had any issues whatsoever, have not check my GPU usage in game however.

SLI 680s would be overkill to the game until they add more into the video graphics preference/settings.

True I'm easily hitting 120fps, and highly doubtful that they will do that at this point.

I agree.  Since we aren't paying monthly subscriptions, there's no incentive to actually improve the video aspect of the game any further.  I can only see them gaining revenue returns from any future expansions and money to gold transfers through the Auction House.

680's in SLI, yeah definitely overkill, however I am sure the person running 9800GT's in SLI would greatly appreciate the added performance, it can not be that painful to enable multi gpu support.

i really love how if SLI isnt officially supported by driver+game ur performance is toilet-ness

always kept me away from going SLI. tried sli for rage, it failed HORRIBLY.

not to be a total douche but : good luck with server problems, account hacking, and performance lags and specially 100clicking to move 10 meters lol

I haven't had any problem with SLI enabled either, but I'm just saying that not everyone has top end GPU's and those with low-mid range SLI GPU's would surely appreciate added SLI support.

Well if they are worried about it crashing their drivers, I don't see it happening...  3 and 4 way SLI might be a little iffy...  We won't know until somebody tries it with old school gpus.

I have 2 9800 GTXs in SLI. I have to disable SLI when I play Diablo 3 because the image gets super jittery.  I'm think I'm going to ask for a 550Ti for father's day.
