Just wondering if it was possible to use this (https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Ultra-Speed-Drive-Quad-NVMe/dp/B072C5Y1L5) on a consumer motherboard?

I want to say yes, but I can see how there might be some software locking it to dell only equipment. I've been looking for a multiple m.2 pcie adapter to run a few SSD's off of as the micro's only have 1 m.2 socket on them.

should work just fine, but at that price you could do two doubles with drives for cheaper. pretty cool layout though. if you can raid it that would be one awesomely fast setup with some 960 pro's on it
