The first generation of ACX was already impressive, but ACX 2.0's features are even more outstanding. Combine this cooler with the powerful, energy-efficient GTX 900 series and there is no competition!

i have the 970 EVGA SC ACX 1.0. and i'm REALLY curious on how much cooler the ACX 2.0 is.
and that brings another question to me! can i SLI with 970 Super Clocked ACX 1.0 with a 970 not super clocked ACX 2.0????

The new cards I love the designs of the fan. That is always my main concern is how the cards will run in my country as it's usually hot. With fans as such should give a better cooler temp than the card I currently have which stands at 40c idle and 65c gaming.

I've always admired eVGA products though the stuff i really wanted never aligned with when i was building. THIS time around i was excited enough from the Supernova G2 PSUs that i got one and pushed to build an all-new system, delaying the final component(a new flagship of a videocard) until everyone started releasing their holiday treats. with the GTX970 and 980, i see that patience has paid off for me. the 970's a screaming deal but I really want the 980; so many choices! I just think that If I'm going team green this time around there's no better company to do it with than eVGA! Good Luck everyone!

The important part here is the ACX 2.0 Cooler. Ive now remembered for LIFE how many fan blades it has per fan. A whopping 11.
Loving my current ACX cooler and cant wait to be rocking the 2.0 on that shiney new Maxwell.

I'll post... RATTTTTTLE RATTTTTLE RATTTTTLE! Hit 70% fan and hear a rattle... Hit 35% and hear a rattttttttle. Try SLI and reach higher temps than reference SLI cards.
