My first real gaming rig since owning a AMD 1600+ unlocked with pencil trick. With the i7, I'm never going back to AMD. Sorry! Initial build using borrowed Kingston's. Installed properly with Mushkin's. Nothing too fancy, but still a worthy opponent!

Ha I was a AMD/asus guy too. Then I got a I7... Never looking back. Ever. (but in all fairness the AMD dual core Athlons 4600+ and higher were king for almost two years before the intel core duo came out.) Great Build!

DMIINC Nice rig. How heavy is that Cpu cooler assembly? Here's an example of how big this beast is. Sorry for the crappy photo. I'm going to be replacing the fans with two San Ace's in push/pull, plus shroud in the middle. Just waiting for Noctua to send me the extra set of pegs and pads.

I know I said I was never looking back at AMD. But all this crazy talk about AMD and ATI has got me hooked. I started a micro AMD build! SO... ... if it turns out to be trash I am going to mail you the bill.

it wasn't the fans that were the issue..it was the heatsink it self...wasn't clearing the hyperx fins.
