There is an old list in the manual and I'm looking for a more up to date list.  I would like to get the Intel Wireless-AC 9560 to get the lastest Bluetooth and wireless speeds on the board.  These say they are "notebook" cards but I don't believe they won't work in these systems.  Is there a list somewhere of test cards?  Want to get something more recent than the old slower listed card in the manual.

This is the current "Newest" intel card that will work - https://ark.intel.com/products/99445/Intel-Wireless-AC-9260

The thing you have to look for is this - System Interface Type    -     Wi-Fi(PCIe), BT(USB)

The 9560 is an "M.2: CNVio" System Interface Type

The M.2 End is similar and you can put the 9560 in the slot but it will not work - do a google search for both 9260 and 9560, look at the images and you will see the difference.
You will also need to find a kit with wires and antenna - they are an easy find with an simple google search

Someone REALLY needs to make any one of these threads asking about this a sticky as it seems every other week people are asking and don't seem to know how to use the search function on the forum

Here is the Intel list of their wireless products, you can look at the specs you will see that the 9260 is the current best offering
    https://ark.intel.com/pro...ntel-Wireless-Products

Edit note for antennas. They must have an MHF4 connector on the end that hooks to the card.
    Explanation here - https://www.data-alliance.net/mhf4-cables/
Examples can be seen here - https://www.data-alliance.net/mhf4-to-rp-sma-female-cable-1-inch-2-in-3-in-4-in-6-in-8-in-10-in-1-ft-14-in-16-in-18-in-20-inch/
For the X299 Dark I recommend the 2-3" ones

Thanks, I did a search on the board for wireless m.2 key 3 and a couple of other options and nothing came up.  What you said is what I was seeing out there that the 9560's won't work.

I think part of the issues is that (for me at least) the default page filter is show posts from the last 30 days and search sticks to that. When I am looking for a specific thread I have change the filter to 365 days to find what I am looking for

Besides the fact they are from aliexpress aka alibaba the antenna wires in the above post are too long esp for the Dark, you would have to loop the wires and fight to keep them under the IO shield it keeping it = looping = bad for this type of antenna

I have a VPN and I use pi hole. I am not going to get into an debate and I am not going to click on any more ali express junk. The whole reason I never gave an actual link for purchase and just told people what to look for is that they can use whatever is easiest for them where they live and where they are comfortable buying from instead of a knockoff site
