Is it possible to control the two EVGA RGB logos via the motherboard RGB headers? The lights turn on, and occasionally respond change colors. However they don't seem to respond to the Aura Sync software. I know I can control the lights through the EVGA software but I'd like more options and independent color choices.

i think it's something in the bios or aura sync issue. i booted up today and the case lights were synced up with the other lights. rebooted after a few hours and now they aren't synced. so it leads me to believe its a mobo related issue

As far as I know, you can't sync Asus Aura Sync with EVGA RGB system.
Actually, you can't sync anything if not in the same brand components.
Of course, you can sync the same color for everything.
But if you want to try something like "Breathing" lightning, it won't sync the timing.

    Case: Asus Z370-G Box / MB: Asus Z370-G / CPU: Intel I7 8700K / Mem.: 16GB (2x8) 3000Mhz Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 / GPU: GTX 1080TI FTW3 / A.I.O. W.C: EVGA CLC280 / PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G3 750W

Yea syncing the color is what i want. I'm not trying to set the effects so they match. After some additional research i believe its an issue with the Aura Sync software. The software doesnt even detect my mobo. The case lights are doing whatever the mobo is doing, so it's synced there. Now if only i can get the mobo to show up within the software i might be able to do something about it.

just to add to that. The RGB header does illuminate the LED's, i'm just not able to control color or effects at the moment. I'm looking at doing a clean install of the software, but from what i'm seeing on asus forums it's very buggy

Ok I did one last reboot before doing a clean install of Aura. And now the software is detecting the Mobo and several other headers that weren't listed under the areas menu. I don't understand why this software has so many issues.

But at the moment I'm able to change the case lights and their respective effects. So I guess it's possible so long as the software is working

Windows 10 is known for not playing nice with 3rd party software. My Creative AE-5 sound card software/driver suite is a pain to get it to work right. If i don't install it while running in clean boot mode, the software will act up randomly after rebooting the system (no sound).
